I got this for my girlfriend, who asked for it specifically for her birthday. Thing is, she already has numerous different drink vessels. Continuing to purchase new reusable drinking vessels kind of defeats the purpose of a reusable drink vessel, but in the case of the Camelbak MultiBev, I think it's justified. This is a versatile piece of gear that doesn't waste space and can be used in several different ways. It keeps drinks hot for an impressive amount of time, and it's a go-to for my girlfriend when it comes to taking coffee to work, or even when we travel or do errands. It's easy to clean, holds up in the dishwasher, and has a high-quality feel about it. The tops both seal as well as you can expect, and everything packs up effectively. I've had this bottle for over 2 months with almost daily use, travel use, and day trip adventure use. I find that a lot of the previous reviews come from folks wanting a different bottle entirely. In my opinion this is the best bottle/cup combo for folks who want to carry a cold beverage and a warm/hot beverage without having two different cups/bottles every day. I use this for long gym + coworking days where I put my coffee into the cup and water into the bottle. I then throw the bottle in my bag and hold my coffee while commuting. The silicon top can pop off so I am vigilant of it but for the most part it works just fine as long as you aren't jostling it about too much. When I've finished my coffee the cup slides onto the bottle and the cap into the storage zone. I encourage you to roll the cap and then fold it in half (as noted in the directions with the bottle....). This makes it flat and ensures it won't leak. I've found that cold drinks stay cold and hot drinks stay hot for up to 6+ hours easily with the bottle, while the cup lasts for far fewer hours but this is okay if you use this bottle combo the way I do. This thing has been great for dayhikes. I boil my tea, pour it in, hike a few hours, and when I stop to take a break, it's still too hot to drink! I have to pour it in the included cup and let it cool. I used to bring my MSR Pocket Rocket and heat water on the trail, but this makes it fun to bring the tea already made. The integrated cup is quite nice and really big. I truly enjoy this thing and bought one for my brother too. It works exceptionally well at keeping my tea hot. Also, I have no worries about throwing it in my daypack - it doesn't leak and it's sturdy. If I'm not working, I'm hiking, and this is fun to bring along. ... show more

I read all the reviews and almost didn’t buy this item. I’m glad I ignored all the negative reviews and bought it. So I put boiling water in my hydro flask coffee mug and this coffee mug. It does not get hot to the touch but I was ready to deal with it. The lid to the one I got doesn’t pop off or even come close. I am so excited this has replaced the need to carry a separate coffee cup. This is absolutely amazing!! I really liked this product when CamelBak first introduced it because I was always forgetting my cup to pour my drinks into. When I got it though it didn't live up to what I had hoped it could be. My biggest complaint is if you intend to use this for hot drinks. The cup is not double-walled and therefore it makes it almost impossible to pick up when you have a hot drink in it. The included rubber spill top works ok but it's hard to get on especially if the cup is full. I would rather them have included a rubber grip on the side to insulate your hands from the hot drink. There's a reason why places that serve hot coffee put one of those cardboard sleeves around the cup. For cold drinks this works well although even then if you put ice in your cup it may get a bit cold to hold. That and without a double-wall the cup has a tenancy to perspire from the condensation in the air. Overall it's a good sturdy bottle and the cup is sturdy as well but I think I'll stick to my other CamelBak bottles and just remember to bring my cup each time. ... show more

Loss for words. Is a little too big for my hands but I have small hands. Even a regular fork is too big, also for my hands, lol. I got the bigger size bottle, thinking ahead if I want to put some soup in it for lunch. This is all and more than described. Camelbak A++++ on this one. Great job.
