  • Poor quality product.
Style: With Hose
This is my 6th Camcorder Black tank flush. Only one has not leaked. The one that didn’t leak spray head ended up in my sewer hose. Replaced it, and leaky black tank. I’ve tried it with a hose plug and the vacuum breaker and it still leaks. It comes out of the female fitting. The silicone seal is good. My only option is to replace the black tank to get rid if the hole for a useless product. Thanks Camco. ... show more

  • Came a part first use
Style: With Hose
This is a good idea. It was a pain to install at no fault of this cleaner. My trailer has a bunch of insulation and the leveling system was in the way so a lot of work to get to the tank where I install. Finally get to the tank and get it installed. I didn't use the hose and I ended up plumbing PEX pipe and garden hose fitting to side of trailer. So really I only wanted the swivel nozzle that goes inside tank. Tested next day after silicone has cured and bam the nozzle inside the tank comes off and out the drain. I had already put everything back together. I'll probably leave it as is and use it with just the main jet in there cleaning until I get around to replacing with a better quality version. Do not recommend this and should look to something that won't require maintenance. ... show more

  • Not what they used to be...
The original design used a plastic female hose fitting that would get brittle and break after a few seasons = bad. However, the twirling nozzle head ALWAYS twirled = good. The new design uses a metal female hose fitting = good. However, the nozzle head may or may not twirl = bad. Comparing side-by-side, the original design had much tighter fit tolerances. The premise on how the nozzle rotates relies on jetting action against the tank walls and the eccentrics, the plastic ears on the nozzle head, to keep it moving. Well, will the new design's loose tolerances and if you have a long, but shallow rectangular tank where the rinser was installed on one of the long sides, when the main jets align parallel to the tank length it stops spinning! Being an engineer I did a little workshop re-balancing of the nozzle head to work with my tank versus leaving a dead rinser in it to just patch the gaping hole. Camco, you used to have a stellar rinser functionally but with poor durability. Now you have a lousy rinser with good durability. Perhaps it's time for a third generation combining the positive traits! It doesn't take much to fix the problems, but likely will need your tooling to change to make them. ... show more

  • If you are the manufacturer and you are reading this I hope you are ashamed of your product.
Style: With Hose
I cannot stress enough that you should not buy this product. It is defective. You stand a small chance of getting one that works out of the box, but you should be aware that something with this level of quality cannot be expected to work for any given amount of time. It also requires you to drill a hole in your black tank which is a heavy commitment for a product that will surely fail. Even after reading quite a few bad reviews on here I decided to hope for the best and ordered this product. I really wanted it to work. It is a good idea and could easily be made to function as advertised, but it does not. It is manufactured with with the same attention and care as something you would expect to find in a dollar store. This item would be a good value at the dollar store, if you only bought it for the hose and tossed the actual rinser in the trash right away. They have spent much more time on the packaging than the actual item. I am so glad that I took the warning of others and tested the rinser before drilling a hole in my black tank. I attached it to a garden hose and turned it on gently. Water went everywhere but where you would expect it too. Every seam sprays water. It does not spin, only leaks badly. A small amount of water came out of the two jets but it did not compare to the amount that was coming of the joint below it. The unit eventually separated from the supplied hose and shot off about 5 feet onto the ground. I packed it up and returned it. If you are the manufacturer and you are reading this I hope you are ashamed of your product. ... show more

  • it installs fairly easy. I put it to test for the first ...
Style: With Hose
Depending upon your tank location, it installs fairly easy. I put it to test for the first time this past weekend and it seemed to preform as needed. No more dragging the hose inside the camper and sticking the home made spray wand down through the commode! Not to mention, putting on gloves, and having to wrap and store the germ infested wand in a bag for the next use. ATTENTION! As stated in the directions. Do Not use your drinking hose to supply the water to clean the tank! ... show more

  • Can't get it to stop leaking
Style: With Hose
Followed instructions to the letter. After 2 tubes of %100 silicone and 1 roll of waterproof tape I CANT GET THIS THING TO STOP LEAKING!!! After cutting hole in tank I cleaned the area very well. Put a bead of silicone on inside of unit on all four screws. Applied silicone to outside of unit. Connections from water hose to rinser are tight as so is the clamp. Let silicone cure for 24 hrs. First time I tried it it leaked. Another tube of silicone and a roll of pipe repair tape and it still leaks. Try this thing at your own risk but once you cut a hole in your black tank there is no going back. ... show more

  • Folks say this is junk, I bought it anyway! Do not make the same mistake!
Style: With Hose
I ordinalry do not write reviews because so many reviews are simply whiners. But, someone else accurately stated: "After two seasons, the female hose fitting snapped off flooding the storage of my motorhome." This is exactly what happened to us. We work in the RV industry, we take care, we do not put stress on the hose. Hooked up hose, turned on water, went in side RV to check, came out and the hose connector broke off and was flooding our grey/black water tank compartment. When I viewed the cheap plastic where the hose fitting is, I am surprised it made it 2 seasons! The plastic is about 1/16" thick! Also, while using it, very rarely was there enough pressure to actually have the nozzle inside function (spin). And, as others say, you have to drill the black water tank to install, so mad I have not figured out how to fix this mess. ... show more
