    • Works Great in our Side by Side Fridge's Freezer
I actually use these in the freezer section of our (full-sized) side by side refrigerator to keep heavy frozen things from falling off the (poorly designed) freezer shelving and onto the tops of our feet/toes. I've had these in the freezer for almost 2 weeks so far, and have not had any trouble with these slipping due to freezer moisture yet, which I was initially concerned about prior to using these. I have them no more than 1 inch above each shelf, just enough to give us a bit of a ledge, but still enough room to reach in and pull out what we need. The sizing of these is accurate, and the spring in these is very strong while the outer portion is very sturdy when in place and finished with nice, thick end caps. As they were too short for my refrigerator I use them in drawers to keep things from moving to the back and sliding all over. Works good for that. I should have measured the refer before ordering, but found good use for them!

    • Nice strong mini rods, very useful
I wish I had known about these short rods years ago, they are a great idea. I have two accent windows in my living room (one on either side of a fireplace) and they are old single-pane windows. They are pretty but in winter they let a lot of heat out so in the past I've just push-pinned a few swatches of flannel up there and it looks, shall we say, bohemian. This year I decide to buy some nice fabric and make nice curtains and use these rods to hang them. They work great and they are very strong. And on warm days when I want to look out of the windows, I can just pop them down in seconds. I read that some people are using them in cabinets to hang up things like spray bottles, also a very good idea. ... show more

Easy to adjust. I used two to help keep my trays upright in the cupboard. The third one I wanted to use under the sink to hang spray bottles off of, but it's really not strong enough for that at all. I tried to hang two bottles that were almost empty from it, and one that wasn't entirely full, and it collapsed each time within seconds. I bought a pack of 3 for $5.09 as an Add-On Item. This was the perfect tension rod for my work locker. I had been searching for a way to hang my googles but most rods are way too long for a standard locker. I'm so glad to have accidentally stumbled across these. Works as designed and is easy to adjust and install in your refrigerator. Pros: 1. Light weight 2. Small enough for storage when not in use 3. Very easy to adjust to different lengths 4. Good for small refrigerators and small cabinets 5. Good price Cons: 1. Not very useful for you double wide refrigerators maybe meant for single wide frigs.
