  • Highly recommended
Works very well without trying to do a dozen other useless functions like my 3 previous Gretag units. Easy to install, also unlike the Gretag units.

  • Great for digital artists and creatives!
The unit was super easy to use! The guide is straightforward and it's basically plug and play. Opening up the box you get the calibration unit with USB-C plug and a counterweight to keep it in place as it calibrates. The Display 123 stores settings for up to two monitors, so I had to unplug two of my secondary screens to calibrate my main display and Huion tablet, no big deal there. I also liked that I could set reminders to readjust the monitors at specific intervals as monitor color changes over time. As a digital artist and amateur photographer, color is my lifeblood, and having accurate color is extremely important. I feel more confident now that the color I'm picking is exactly what I need. I also appreciated that the packaging is plastic-free and recyclable. Overall, I recommend, especially if you work creatively! ... show more

  • Secret: Adaptor needed?
One star at the start. Here's why: This device's cable ends in a USB-C male plug! Many of us use computers with the standard USB-A sockets only. No, the Amazon product description does not mention this. Oddly, the product description on the Calibrite web site coyly mentions it only at the end of the product feature list; on the Calibrite video note that the user plugs it into a USB hub with USB-C. The adapter was easy enough to find on Amazon but now it's another two-day wait for me to calibrate my monitor, hence the failing grade. This should have been mentioned clearly in the product description. Three days later... I received the adapter from Amazon, plugged it in to my USB-A socket on my HP display, and started the calibration. Unlike my previous experience with freeware calibration (sadly no longer updated), there was no confusing and over-long preference stage; actually, there wasn't anything confusing at all except for the oddly-named "native" setting (I used "photo" and got an unaccustomed blue 5500 degrees). I've upgraded to five stars for good value and easy operation. (Hey, Calibrite! Do a re-write on the Amazon product description and let us know that we probably have to order a female USB-C to male USB-A adapter.) ... show more

  • Yeah, it works
It works as advertised. The important part it's very easy to set up and use for the price that's outstanding.

  • Easy to use
The Display 123 is really easy to use - it really is 1, 2, 3. I was able to take it out of the box, download the new software and get everything calibrated within a few minutes. I used it on my MacBook Air and my external Dell monitor with no issues.

  • Colors are not accurate
Bought this test, arrived in great condition but after calibrating my computer the colors are SO off and orange! Not worth it and will have to buy a different one :(

  • Works well enough for the average person, useless for everyone anyone else
I think whomever is looking to drop the 120$ for this should be fully aware what this product is. It is NOT a full calibrator, at least traditionally. Basically, it only allows you to create a custom ICC profile that you can apply to your PC but there is no option in the Calibrite software to physically adjust the color temperature and such outside of brightness. To boot, for some reason, the device is not compatible with 3rd-party software that I'm aware of (like displayCAL). Maybe there's a way to extract the driver but that's beyond me. I would only recommend this device to a very casual person who wants better accuracy out of their PC usage without having to tinker with the settings, and that only. If you want want something that can achieve true accuracy, I'd say it's worth spending more for something better. ... show more

  • Great Solution for a Beginner or Enthusiast!
First step for photographers is to get their monitors calibrated! The Display 123 is very simple and paired down with a modern clean design. The software is clear and easy to use. Personally I would like more options for luminance and white point, but it makes sense at this price point. Love that the packaging is minimal and doesn't use any plastic! ... show more
