(Included is a coloring page that I started as soon as they arrived.) I was really nervous about trying this brand, especially after seeing a few negative reviews. But I am so glad that I did because I LOVE THEM!! I feel like they aren't as streaky as my Prismacolors and they cost a heck of a lot less! They do bleed a LOT but I think that helps the color to look more uniform and hopefully they will also last longer because they are so juicy. (As with all alcohol markers, always place cardboard behind what you are working on to absorb the bleed through!) Definitely make yourself a color chart because they are wildly different from what is represented on the cap. I am so happy that they have vibrant colors, lots of skin tones, AND grays all in the same kit! Making a color chart will also help compensate for the fact that the case doesn't have any dividers so the colors get mixed up. The only major downside is that the case reeks of a terrible chemical smell that started to make me sick after they arrived. Since the case is canvas I might be able to wash it out, I just haven't tried yet. Overall, these don't just compete with more expensive brands; I think I actually prefer these over them. ... show more

These are nice colors, big variety. I normally use sharpies as they work for my coloring needs but I wanted to try these for blending purposes. It comes with a blending marker but it's more like it saturates the colors with some liquid to make them blend. The blending was okay. It kind of gives it that water stain look, which was fine for my painting but it might not work on some other paintings. Works nice. These are my first alcohol markers and I love them. I made this swatch sheet on card stock and it bleed through to the cardstook underneath but only a little bit. Love the color range with so many skin tones and browns! Also love the hues of grey. Would love to see a few more pastels but honestly this is really well rounded. I'd probably buy the ohuhu set of pastels if I really need them. My one complaint: marker R201 came with a busted chisel nib and bent cap. I was able to shove the nib back in and bend the cap so it snaps closed. But it's not great. I like that color so I'm really hoping it doesn't dry out. I'll update if it does. ... show more

I love these markers. They are great variety and the best of all the color story is so good. There are 41 of the pastel markers in here so unless you want the extra 19, you don’t need them. They dry nice and they bleed but all alcohol markers due. Just put a page under. Great coverage on the page.

These markers are a great buy! They are juicy and write smoothly, and they have a great range of colors. I would say these markers are a budget friendly set that are comparable to the Ohuhu brand of markers. The only downside is that you can't buy refills. But the price of these is so great that I don't mind buying another set once mine start running out of ink! I also appreciate that a colorless blender marker is included in the set. The only other downside in my opinion is that they come in a bag that zips around the top of the bag and they're loose in the bag, so there's nothing in the bottom of the bag to hold them in place. But that's not a big deal either, I just bought a really cool case for mine! And for the great price that these markers are sold at, I could afford to buy a nice case to store them in! This is the second time I've bought Caliart markers, and honestly, they have lasted me a lot longer than the Ohuhu markers did. These markers are definitely worth the money for alcohol markers that aren't "high end". The drying time is fairly quick however (hence the noticeable lines on the skirts).
