This is not the best coffee I've tasted, but it's good and a great value. This is not 100% Arabica coffee - some will care about that - but a blend of Arabica and Robusta. I'm guessing Robusta will become more common because it's a more robust (see what they did there) plant and can be grown more easily than the Arabica. Robusta also has a bolder flavor and a higher caffeine content. This is a very fine grind - and very consistent - so it's great for a Aeropress. I like this better than the company's 100% Arabica product (which is also good). Recommended. ... show more

For me, this is the best coffee. It blows Starbucks out of the water when it comes to flavor and it's a fraction of the price. This stuff has a wonderfully complex and rich flavor. I mostly make iced coffee with it using a single serve machine simply because it's easy and quick to do it that way. I also have a Moka pot and it's so good when made that way. I've tried many different types of coffee in my days. Even used to order some rare and very expensive beans. Cafe Bustelo is in my opinion the best coffee I've ever had. I love it so much and have stopped buying anything else. I used to buy these bricks, but have since switched to buying the 1lb 6oz buckets. So good!! ... show more

I originally bought this on a whim when the grocery store had no whole-bean coffee for my espresso machine with built in grinder. Other pre-ground coffees I have tried with it have not been great, and did not brew properly, but I had heard good things. I am glad I tried it. After one cup, I made a monthly order for packages on here. The flavor and texture is exactly what I was hoping to get from my machine! I was blown away by how much better this tastes and brews than expensive locally roasted beans I had used previously. I don't understand why this is so cheap, as they could get away with charging 3x as much, but it is definitely worth trying. If you don't like it, you are only out a few bucks! ... show more

Cafe Bustelo competes with some of the much higher end espresso grinds, it is very strong I would say only second to pilon which is more money but still very good

The price for this coffee has been slowly increasing. When we saw that we were down to our last brick, we found this great price on Amazon. Bustelo is a wonderfully strong coffee which we make in an.old fashioned Mr. Coffee. Our perfect cup is made using 10 cups of water with 5 scoops of coffee. But, make it according to your tastes.
