    • Went from 144hz to 165hz

1440p and 144hz was only possible with HDMI but with this displayport cable my monitor finally recognized 165hz. Most people won't notice the difference but I payed heavily for that monitor so I better squeeze out every ounce of it. Cable is thick feels nice. So far it's exactly what I needed.

This cable does exactly what I needed it to, running from my gaming laptop's mini DisplayPort to my monitor's full-size DisplayPort. I immediately tested it at my monitor's max resolution and refresh rate, successfully, at 3440 x 1440 @ 144Hz. I also tested HDR successfully both in Windows and in games. Also, at 3.3 feet, it doesn't leave me with a mess of cable, spanning the exact distance between my laptop and the monitor.
