This sweater surprised me with the super soft feeling it has, both inside and outside. It is not what I would have thought of as a traditional sweater, but I am learning they have evolved over the years, lol. It is very comfortable to wear and the fit for me was perfect with an XXL, just the way I like with it being flowing and loose. The color is really pretty too, especially with the heather (?) look. I have been mostly a t-shirt / sweatshirt / tank top person for many years now, but this sweater has me wishing for some cooler weather so I can start wearing it! It is not a heavy winter sweater, but for fall and then in the winter with a warm coat, it will be really great! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a leisure or somewhat dressy sweater. By the way, the close up picture of the ribbed material is the most realistic for what the mauve color looks like. I do not really have good lighting in my home for color details. This had the potential to be an awesome top if they had used better quality fabric. It's is a beautiful color blue, fits true to size, is a good length to wear tucked in or left out, and I love the polo style neckline. It's also lightweight and well constructed with straight, even seaming. But...it's NOT a sweater as advertised. The outside is a slightly fuzzy ribbed fabric, but the inside feels crunchy. The only way I know how to describe the fabric it is it reminds me of the "fuzzy" lounge wear you find at discount and dollar stores. I don't hate it, and I'll wear it around the house, at least. But I'm very disappointed because I was expecting a sweater and got a cheap pajama top. ... show more

This sweater is lightweight, which is perfect for fall and winter here in South Texas. It fits true to size, with a loose, relaxed fit. It will be perfect to wear with leggings.

First: I usually wear a size small, I got a small (130-140Ib, 5’6”). It fits, and did shrink a little in the wash. It is a longer shirt and reached past my hips (almost like a tunic). Had to tuck it in so it wouldn’t be a weird length on me. The arms reach all the way to my wrist. The fabric does try to fit to me and has made me almost feel like working out (or getting shape wear). I work in a lab that gets very cold, like high school classroom subzero temperatures (as if that ever kept me from a good nap). However, it is also summer right now, so I needed something that would cover me while also not causing me to melt once I left the building. This sweater accomplishes both. I wouldn’t say it’s warm, but I am able to comfortably layer it with a more fitted cardigan without issue. Fabric-wise, it isn’t see-through, and the ribbing part looks almost velvety. We only take from Vine what we need or use. My wife likes this piece as a very practical item to be worn for casual occasions that are not dress up, but at least make some kind of effort. Its like a stroll in the park walking the dogs in the evening wear piece, if you know what I mean. And thats probably when it scores as an item for when the weather is a little cooler but nice out. This BZB long sleeved polo 'sweater' is just okay for me. It's made of that thin sweater fabric that's too light for cold days so it needs a layer or two worn under it. However, this is a collared polo type shirt and I expect to NOT have to layer under a collared shirt. This would have been better as a regular v-neck sweater or button down for me. The fabric is also quite sheer between each ribbing so you really can't wear this with nothing under it. The sheerness should have been made clear in the product description. I thought this would be a polo shirt I could just throw on but no. I don't want to have to layer under a polo shirt. Again with the fabric: While the outside is slightly fuzzy and soft to the touch, the inside of the shirt is a little rougher. My skin is sensitive to the feel of fabric and this one is not the greatest for me. The fabric feels slightly rough against my sensitive skin. It's mostly tolerable, but definitely takes away from the coziness of how the fabric feels on the outside of the shirt. It's almost like two different worlds to me. The shirt fits well and is somewhat flattering on me so that's something. The collar is big and floppy but still looks okay.
