Before this, I was previously using toner from Revolution before realizing because of my dry skin it might be helpful to try a milky toner. I tried one from Thayers and it made me break out in a rash. Hesitatingly I tried this one. Instantly I fell in love. It goes on smooth, lightly and my skin just drinks up the moisture. This has become a staple in my skin care routine that I never skip, in fact I always look forward to this step as it feels so good on my skin. The BYOMA Hydrating Milky Toner is fantastic! It feels incredibly hydrating on the skin and works wonderfully when mixed with foundation. While it didn’t pair perfectly with every foundation I tried, the ones it did work with looked amazing, leaving a smooth, dewy finish. The product arrived well-packaged, but the bottle itself was scratched and scuffed. Based on the packaging, it’s clear this didn’t happen during shipping but likely before it was packed. Ok so I absolutely LOVE this stuff! I tried it on a whim after hearing a few different people rave about it. I had tried a similar product from Rhode and was not really “wowed” by it, but thought it was still a nice product. This milky toner however blew me away. I apply it after washing my face with my hands and gently pat it in and it just leaves a moisturized, dewy finish. I also have recently started mixing it in with my foundation when I apply it to my makeup and it’s been a game changer. Since it’s winter and I live in the northeast, I have had issues with my foundation being really dry lately - this has solved it. It leaves a beautiful satin finish (I use Haus labs, Chanel No. 1, and Hourglass foundations for reference). For the price point, amount of product and versatility, you just can’t beat it.
