The first car seat I bought was too rigid for my little 5 pound Pomeranian. She wouldn't settle down in it, and hassled on any road trip no matter how short. I bought this one as it appeared to be more cozy for her. So far, so good. She settles into it like she does her dog beds. If I had one issue, I wish it sat up further so she could see out the window. I tried putting a cushion under it but could not tighten the loop around the headrest of the seat enough to be secure. Other than that, very stable and a good size for her.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve got a little dog. He’s about 12 pounds and he loves this thing. I first got it because I was taking a drive from San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles and I was concerned about his comfort and mine. Before purchasing this, he would always be trying to sit with me/on me. He would not get constantly in the other way. But now , driving with him in the car is a total different experience with this thing. It’s like comforting to him the way it holds him because he was super chill the entire drive , almost like it kept him drowsy or something, lol. Whatever the case, I’m glad I got this and I’ve been taking him on trips all over the place ever since because it’s no longer any hassle. He’s very comfortable in his little cradle. He is no longer feeling awkward or always trying to get on my lap. And if I have the windows open and he starts feeling cold, I just throw a shirt or towel on him and he’s good. As a bonus I also use it as a bed for him outside the car when we travel. We are happier having bought this.

It arrived in pieces with an apology for assembly being required, and instructions, which are maybe not written by someone whose first language is English, because they are difficult to decipher. I cannot figure it out. If I ever get it put together, and it ends up working for my dog, then I may come back here annd increase my rating. But as it is, this is a total failure. AMENDED: I managed to get it together. The word which the instructions didn't know how to put into English was "inside-out". You must turn it inside out in order to insert the filling (padding) into the 4 sides of the seat. The bottom of the seat doesn't have its own padding, but you put the final piece of padding into the separate large square case and place that into the bottom. My dog loves the seat and it is a game changer for us, since we can now travel together without him trying to climb on my lap or crying the whole time. So I'm changing my rating to 4 stars, while I'm still withholding 1 star due to the difficulty in assembly and the undue stress it caused me due to poorly-written instructions.

Just like the photos. Pillow/cushions are soft and fluffy. They were easy to insert and fit perfectly. Zipper quality is good. The straps are adjustable and easy to relocate in and out of the vehicle. It’s sturdy. Plus material seems to be washable. I’m pleased with this order.
