I have never seen a style like this and love it!! Great for if you have to move in the future as well since they pack small. My other kids have the other style that is wrapped and these are so much better and provide better support, especially for full foam mattresses! Once we have some extra cash I want to buy 3 more sets. The wrapped kind just have wood slats that ar every far apart and just wrapping fabric and if you have kids in bunks you know they pick and pull the fabric. Those kind provide less support. I am surprised I don’t see these more for sale! I was looking for something solid and couldn’t find anything and finally ran into these. I am using them just fine on my platform bed. However, for nearly 80 dollars, I expected them to be held together with more than just glue. I got them to fill in small gaps on my platform bed for my futon. They are completely supported. I would not trust these if they had to span an open area and provide support of their own. It fits perfectly my mattress does not slide off. I tried a different product , it was wrapped in material that was wet and smelled like chemicals . My bed slid off and it didn't fit. I sent it back. This set is excellent- 10 stars!

Needed better support for my Nolah Natural full size mattress on my Anctor bed frame, but I wanted a bunkie board that had as few gaps as possible and was easy to move/position. They worked great and fit the frame perfectly (the end of the boards are laying on support slats at both the foot and head of the frame). I think the quality is good and the wood is definitely sanded, though I did fix one or two edges that had some splinters so you may want to check before placing your mattress on top. Each of the four boards fit together nicely like puzzle pieces, and none of them were badly warped or deformed. You can secure the four quadrants with duct tape if you don't want them to move while placing your mattress on top, but otherwise you'll have to reposition them once you drag the mattress on top. Made a noticeable difference in my comfort, but will update this review if something changes. Overall, pleasantly surprised. ... show more
