I had added a small inverter to our rv and wanted to put it on a circuit breaker. I was looking for something that was cost effective that would work. I found this and ordered it. It was very simple to wire up and install including taking it out of the package it was less that 10 minutes, and 5 of that was because I had to find my 10mm socket. It is a simple manually resetting circuit breaker. It is priced well and has worked well for us so far. If there are any issues I will come back and update my review. Seems like a quality circuit breaker but to be honest I have not maxxed this out with over a 100 amp load yet. It is well made, easily resettable and easily mountable. It comes complete with a snap in clear cover to keep your fingers off of the tingly bits. The clamps for the incoming and outgoing electrons are of the bare wire variety so you won't have to take the extra step of stripping, adding an end, then soldering, and heatshrink. Just strip the insulation back some, insert in the crimp lug and use the supplied allen wrench to tighten the cable down. A nice little breaker that should get the job done. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a 150 amp rated circuit breaker for a DC battery system. I am using it with a 24 volt off-grid inverter for power backup. The circuit breaker has screw-down terminals for heavy gauge stranded wire. I used existing AWG 4 welding cable, inserted the ends, and tightened the connectors down with the included hex tool. Pushing the button opens the circuit, and moving the lever up closes it. See video of operation. The breaker arrived with the lever in a middle position, so I think it was trip tested at the factory. I verified that pushing the button breaks the circuit. I have not actually tried to overload it and cause it to trip. With a 36 amp DC load, I measured the drop between the connectors at 29 mV, which is just about a watt of loss in the breaker itself (not including the wire to terminal interface.) That predicts 8 watts at 100 amps. Now I no longer have to worry about a high-current short if I leave the inverter DC circuit connected. ... show more

I put this 50A breaker in the solar system in my RV. It is nicely designed and seems to work well. Push the red button trips the breaker and can be used as a 'off' or kill switch. Reset with the blue trip lever. This is a small compact unit. Since I got the smallest, 50A, needed to use the insert core to accommodate the smaller wire, 6 AWG. ... show more

I'm in the process of adding solar to my RV and came across these. First, I really like the compact design. I also like that they do not require the wires to have terminal connectors. They are also flexible with the inner core that can be omitted for larger wire sizes, although that seems unnecessary if you're using the correct wire sizes for the given breaker size.
