You don’t need a high tech super expensive buffer if you don’t plan on quitting your job to start a detailing business. If you take care of your cars and like to do some light paint correction on your own, this is the best bang for the buck. Also a great investment for an economical person. I didn’t want to spend 600 for a polish and ceramic coating. So after a bit of research I pulled the trigger and already done two of my cars. Very happy with the purchase. ... show more

My place of work primarily uses 3M polishers and polishes to paint correct busses, the Sparta is a fraction of the cost, I believe is lighter weight, does THE SAME QUALITY as 3M. And as far as vibration goes they all vibrate wierd it's the nature of the beast save your money buy this.

The media could not be loaded. After using this tool on multiple vehicles for over a week. We come to find out that we actually really enjoy using this tool, and all the accessories it comes with. The tool is a lot sleeker than the previous tools we have purchased from SPTA. This tool has plenty of power and rpm for beginners and professionals, However I can see some customers may not like that it doesn't have the RPM its competitors have. You should never have to use a tool at full Max rpm to get the desired finish you need especially with high end products. This talk came with the couple brushes a couple Alan books for the head as well as a Allen key in the owners manual which is really nice if you ever need to do work on the tool for preventative measures. The polish and compound work pretty well, Have a decent smell, and have a lot of working time period. compared to some of the high end products we have used. The Polish and compound isn't our 1st choice but we will continue to use these products to see what pads SPTA has that will work best for these product. We have been a fan of these Orange and black buffing pads for awhile it comes with 2 sizes a 5" backing plate size in a 6" backing plate size. The Orange pads give you plenty of caught but yet finished down pretty well specially with the working time that the polishing compound has that it comes with this kit. The black pads are very nice for a Finnish wax or finish Polish especially on delicate pain however you will constantly have to clean these pads due to the product falling up in them since the black pads are really really soft not made for high rpm or heat. The tool also comes with various grit sandpaper zoo and 2 different sizes with 5" being the small size and 6" being the big size both will be very good if you wanted to use this tool for a wood or sanding down on raw metal however I would not recommend these products for paints or anything on a vehicle that you are trying to finish unless you are trying to repaint it. One of our favorite accessories this kit comes with is the buffing pad cleaning tool we have purchased these before and some of them have been very expensive reaching over $25 per tool this tool being included with the kit is an amazing value and works very very well especially on the soft wax pad this tool will be 1 of our most highly used tools in the shop because a clean buffing pad means a better finish. Also in the kid was to microfiber towels I would like to call them more of a glass cleaning tell but they work very well for removing Polish and compound from the painted surface they seem to be really made my quality to house and I have purchased these directly from SPTA in the past, And they worked great and last quite a few wash cycles. We 1st opened up the package and noticed the quality of the bag that it comes with to carry everything was actually really high quality even more expensive than some of the previous bags I purchased from high in companies. The Apron a that it came with was really thick and durable, also The apron is not really large like some of the other companies I have purchased which tend to make them floppy and get in the way the Saipan is the perfect size I am 5' 9" tall and it fits me perfectly. My over all final evaluation this cat is you're getting way more than what you pay for for the money if it was just the tool I could see paying this price for the tool the bag and just the buffing pad cleaning tool but they include a lot more accessories in this kit and I feel that that's where the value comes. The tool works great it's nice and smooth the operate the buffing pads work very well with it are the highest quality but they work the polishing compound will take a little bit of time getting used to especially if you are a beginner but the Abran and the whole entire kit as a whole I would probably consider purchasing another one for myself here in the near future. ... show more

Kinda typical when purchasing anything, that familiar feeling of underwhelming comes along with the process....I am soooo happy to say , not this time...hell yeah, we got one in the win colum...it is sweet cuz I did a fair share of reading to get to this point, cuz I knew zero bout professional's approach to car detailing, and this was my first peek behind the curtain of any skill trade via u tube ..so this little victory is sweet for a couple few different reasons, but we r both here cuz of the machine so I will focus on that victiory.. ...what u learn when talking or reading bout car detailing is that there r several key weapons the pro uses to achieve that perfect look and the buffer polisher is one of them, and when they say the name of what they use I overlooked what they say cuz my thinking is they r sponsored, but I did pay attention to the options to see what is mandatory. .if u go to Amazon to aid u in ur investigation like I did, u will be mild overwhelmed by the massive selection of super low price on machines that come with stacks of goodies included, but " to good to be true" strikes me along with not having key mandatory options takes them out, but what is left r machines that can cost money I do not really have for this investment....I will be staying consistent with my approach when communicating by saying, "I'm not gonna lie"...with the mini stack o goodies that come with this SPTA model my knee jerk reaction was ,"to good to be tru", but this had what all the other cheaper units did not , n that is that it had all the mandatory key elements that the pros say they use n need that their multi hundred dollar units have...so I brought u tube to the party n watched a few reviews on this spta model n they all said that it works as advertised and I am gonna add to them and say he'll ya it does...I have written enough, I'm only gonna add that although I have never used or seen the pros version in action..I only know that this is performing exactly like the pros describe in their how to tutorials and is exactly what I dream with my end result ... show more

Bought the polisher and I used it on my Truck which had a lot of grim and This polisher brought it back to life. Would definitly recommend this buffer.
