I got two of these to put on a couple of old machines. The old machines are beasts but only measured 135” from nose, up over the windshield and to the back bumper. These covers say they fit up to 145”. Clearly they do, we got the cover on the machines, however, it took two of us almost 4 minutes to get it on. The elastic band is literally a very tight bungee cord I there and there was no way I could do it by myself, and I am not a wimp. I had to call my husband to come help me because as I would get it placed on the front and go to pull it back, the bungee was so tight that the sides slipped up and the nose would come off. We finally just had me hold the nose in place while he pulled it back and spread it wide as he pulled. It’s pretty safe to say the wind will not blow it off. There are a few ties, but I did not use them, maybe while in storage I would, but the bungee around the bottom is so tight there is really no need for it. It is lightweight so don’t think you can trailer a sled with this one, it would shred very quickly. This is simple storage, keep the dust off, keep the snow or ice off kind of a cover. The weight of it tells me it shouldn’t be stored out in the yard where it will get tons of sun either, I feel that would make it deteriorate even quicker. Over all this is a decent cover and does the job intended which is keep snow, rain, and sun off the snowmobile. It’s not intended for trailering. It worked great for storage between rides and off season. This is the second cover I’ve purchased for my machine because over the years the first one I purchased had become weakened by sun damage (the sun really takes an underestimated toll on any material), and developed a couple weak spots that started to tear at pressure points, (i.e. hand-grips and top of windshield). The only reason I gave it three stars is simply because the replacement cover (which was the exact match from my last purchase), was smaller and not as big as the last one which fit perfectly. The next size up would have been a better choice. Not sure why this was the case but recommend measuring before ordering. Yes, I could have sent it back for a replacement but was able to use it and just didn’t want the hassle or extra wait time. For the money a good buy, just make sure what you order will fit so measure twice, order once. ... show more

Material is ok, needed a dirt/Sun cover for my old snowmobile.. I used twine to tie over the hood, windshield, and seats to keep our atrocious “W” from tearing it apart. Worked well all winter and outlasted the last one I bought by 5 months!
