I bought these to use them with my desk because the desk chair wouldn't slide underneath it. I used the shorter one-inch lift and left the five-inch risers to send back to the dorm with my daughter after Winter break. These are very sturdy and would work very well on a bed. They're high quality.

Versatile Set of Risers, Arrived as Advertised

I like these risers a lot! I move often and sometimes live in smaller spaces that I have to get a bit creative with. I like lofted beds and they are great for storage so I've stacked risers in the past but it's annoying, costly, and doesn't look the best (if visible) to get this kind of height. It us
ed to involve buying several sets of the same standard risers so I am glad they have started making better options. I like that these are so adaptive and one set gives you three different configurations. There is a substantial lip on the bigger riser for the smaller riser to fit snugly on top of, it's not just resting, which I greatly appreciated as that was a bit of a concern. They arrived as advertised and are made of very hard plastic with a slightly textured, almost matte appearance. One point worth noting is that as a set, I would say these give you ~8" of rise but they are actually closer to ~9" tall to account for the well that the furniture sits in. So for those wondering, the set being used together does actually give you ~8" of rise and is not just 8" tall. I didn't see a measurement for the bottom of the smaller riser, which is just over 4 3/4". The large piece is about ~6 3/8" which is pretty much what it's listed as. The listing pictures are accurate and a good representation of the product but I have added some of my own with all the pieces laid out together and I've included permanent markers to help with scale. If you have never used these types of risers before, make sure to take the extra time to really place them properly as it's easy, especially if you have a bed on wheels to get some shifting and you want to make sure everything is positioned well so you don't have to pull everything apart to readjust. (I put the feet at the top of the bed against the back of the riser well and the feet at the bottom of the bed against the front of the riser well, to minimize shifting.) I have just started using these (3/24) under my bed (and over wall to wall carpet) and so far they are working quite well. I don't have nearly 2,000 lbs of weight on them but with my bed and my dog they hold well over 250 lbs and me plopping down on it without issue. If that changes for some reason or I have any unexpected problems in the future I will update my review accordingly.
