The dress has a thick built-in liner which makes the dress feel thick and luscious. The chest is lined as well so I feel so safe and comfortable wearing pasties. The long swoop of the empire is a straight seam but stretchyyyy!? Epic. So comfy. I wish the waist seam was slightly lower, but it's fine. Just gotta get the belt real tight to get the right look. Speaking of the belt... it's more for look, not functionality, so I may use an alternative. I expect that with that type of "clasp"... Small downfall to an amazing dress. I purchased this dress for an upcoming wedding. The material is soft and thin but the dress is has a lining so it is not see through. The fit is true to size. It is very comfortable. Condition of Dress: I am giving the dress 3 stars because it arrived dirty. It was very wrinkled when it arrived and went right into my suitcase. I didn’t notice until I ironed it. I have tried everything to get the stain out. It seems to be an imperfection in the fabric. Unfortunately, it was too late to return after I got back from my vacation. Style: I really liked the style of the dress and thought it was made well. Very cute pattern. The belt buckle is cheap and doesn’t work well but that is an easy fix with another belt or replace the buckle. My mom liked it so much that she bought another color pattern. The sizing was true to size. I’m 5’7” and 240lb and I ordered the 2 XL and the sizing was perfect. The draping on top smoother than on the model but still flattering. The belt is awkward and doesn’t really fasten, but I clipped it with a safety pin and not much of an issue. The material had a good weight but the wrinkles were hard to get out. Bought this for an afternoon wedding in Italy where dress code is “summer dresses.” Material looks and feels cheap, and just overall looked awful. Would not recommend unless you are tall and skinny.

I did like this dress. Fabric felt of higher quality than so me other dresses in this price point. The length and fit are true to size but the elastic waist line sits a little higher then my natural waist which made it hard to define.
