Love this pencil skirt. Material is a good quality, I was nervous it was going to appear or feel cheap. It has a great stretch, without becoming see through. It's a relief because it tends to be a common issue I run into with stretch material. It runs a bit small, so you may want to upsize. This skirt is more of a casual looking fabric than a dressy one. It has a lot of stretch and feels thick enough to be prerty durable. It does wash well, and its pretty comfortable and soft. The size chart is probably the dimentions of the fabric, so I woukd say to get your normal size. I orderd a large based on the size chart and it feels very loose fitting. I normally wear a medium but I was worried about it being too small in the hips (chart said it was 32 inches in the hips for a med). ... show more

This skirt is a professional length, thick material but it does run small and is very form fitting. I don’t like the material of the skirt but it feels like a cotton/polyester mixture. This skirt has a lot of great features. It is nice and stretchy and fits very comfortably. It is thick and sturdy and well made. It is meant to fit snugly and that offers a lot of support through the tummy. The length is nice- right below the knee, so it is a great item for just about any occasion. It can be dressed up or dressed down easily depending on the occasion. It’s a pretty good black pencil skirt and it fit well. My main complaint is that throughout the day it rides up quite frequently which is annoying especially if you have a shirt tucked in.

This skirt was a very bright color which I wasn't quite expecting, and it fit well but the fabric is just thin enough to show any skin imperfections (cellulite). If you don't deal with that then this is a great skirt, or if you don't mind wearing shapewear then it's perfect!
