I have had these brushes for a little over a year at this point and absolutely love them. I really can't find anything negative to say about them. I suppose if I were to try hard, my only complaints would be a) they do take a couple days to dry after washing & b) I would prefer for one of the fluffy angled brushes -simply because there are two that are nearly identical- to be replaced with a larger fluffy dome brush (BS-Mall sells one in another set of theirs that is fantastic). However, that is just me being a little fussy. The drying time doesn't bother me really. More so a heads up for anyone who is use to their brushes drying more quickly. All of these brushes perform just as they should & better than you would expect considering the price. They all pick up & deposit color very very well. I find that they perform as well with liquid/cream products as they do with powders. The top of bristles are white which allows you to see how much product you have picked up & what you may have used them with last. This also helps you see/decide when you may need to clean them. They are fluffy & soft but nicely dense. The large tapered/pointed face brush is more stiff than the other face brushes but still as soft. This makes it nice for applying setting powder under the eyes or areas that need concentrated placement. I appreciate the shorter handles on the face brushes. I find them much easier to use than longer handled brushes I've owned/tried in the past. They are just the right length. Not so short that you feel you lose control or may drop them but not so long that you feel as though you are flopping them around when you are applying makeup. I still have not seen Any bristles come out of Any of these brushes! This surprises me. I also have washed them many times and they are still holding strong. None of the ferrules have come off of the handles & none of the brush heads are misshapen as of yet. I do always dry them upside down after washing. Overall, these are fantastic brushes & you absolutely cannot beat the price. I have had very nice brushes in the past...that were much much much more expensive.... yet, I do not see myself going back to them. They are really on an, at least, equal level...I even prefer these over many of those! Just saying... You may need to fill in this set with a few pieces (large fluffy powder brush, eyebrow spoolie, lash/brow comb, etc) but there aren't many you'd need & you could easily apply all of your makeup with just this set if you needed/wanted. I can't imagine ever regretting a purchase from this company. To date, I've bought at least 3 different sets from this seller & have been equally pleased with them all. Just buy them! You can't beat the price to quality & their money back guarantee is peace of mind anyway. *I paid for these with my OWN money at the full price they were listed. I did NOT receive these for free or at a discount. I was NOT asked to alter or "up" rate my review. Even if I were ever approached to do so, I would always rate & review items at my own honest opinion. I'm a stay at home Mom of four (& homeschool), so I can be pretty picky about what I've spent our money on :P I hate the dishonest/"bought" reviews. I recently purchased the BS-MALL Premium Synthetic Makeup Brushes set for $9.05, and I must say, I think it offers a good value for the money. The packaging is very convenient, and the variety of brushes included makes it a great choice for anyone interested in makeup application. The brushes are incredibly soft and have a nice thickness, which feels luxurious. Although these brushes are intended for makeup, I’ve been using them to achieve a powdery look in my painting backgrounds and clouds. Despite this unconventional use, they have performed wonderfully. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and performance of this brush set. It has exceeded my expectations, both for its intended purpose and my creative repurposing. The media could not be loaded. 24 hrs later and I got my brushes! I have not used them with product or washed them yet but they feel really good! Super cute. Color is exact. Super soft bristles. No stray bristles falling out. Doesn’t have a weird smell. Absolutely love that they came in individual plastic wraps & this sturdy case! This will be nice for travel. Also came with a booklet describing what each brush would be best for. I can’t wait to use them tomorrow ... show more

My husband bought these for me as a Christmas gift because I wanted to switch to applying make-up with brushes instead of the foam applicators I had previously used for most of my adult life. The brushes come packaged in a plastic throw away container so you will need a storage space for the brushes set. Included in the set is assorted larger face brushes and an assorted set of smaller brushes mostly used for blending/eyeshadows. There is also a picture insert included that identifies each brush with a brief explanation of what product to apply with brush. That helped me get started since I never have been a brush person. I use to love makeup, it was one of my favorite obsessions but I slowly lost interest in it over the years until I did the bare minimum out of obligation. I say that because once I started playing with my new brushes, they revived my excitement over makeup and I use these brushes daily throughout my whole makeup routine. They are comfortable to hold, lightweight and the brush strokes give you an even, light and natural coverage that you don't get with any other application preference. The bristles are soft, hold their shape and are securely fixed to the base, even after cleaning they stay the same. Each brush serves it's own function and the brushes are angled, flat, pointed, etc so that makeup is applied where it should be most effectively with minimal product. Since switching to these brushes, my makeup application is flawless and evenly applied for a natural looking, full coverage look. After applying my moisturizer and face/eyeshadow/eyelash primer then I begin using my brushes as I apply my foundation, concealer, powder and trio with bronzer, highlighter & blush. Each product has its own unique brush for application. Eye shadow application is fun with multiple brushes of differing sizes and shapes that help create any multiple color eyeshadow look that is completed using the blending brush to blend it all together for a seamless eye color transition. Its made it more fun for me to expand my eyeshadow palette. There is also a fine point brush that can be used for eye liner, lip liner, etc for precise thin application. Big bonus is that I am using less product and no wasting product anymore. For example, just a couple drops of foundation is enough for total coverage instead of applying with fingers/sponge which takes me more. I put small amount on brush, dot it on my forehead and cheeks then starting at top brush down til face is covered completely. I was shocked how little it took to do my face this way. It will save you money or like I did, allow you to splurge on your wish list high end foundation and not feel guilty because its going to go a long way. Makeup tools/brushes that help maximize products lifespan is a main reason this gets a perfect rating!This is a really good brush set and for the price, you can't pass it up really. I take care of my brushes storing them in a cup (bristles up so they hold tight shape and don't fan out), clean brishes routinely and gently use it to apply makeup and as long as you take care of them they brushes will hold their shape and bristles will stay intact. I would definitely buy this set again when needed down the road. It's not often in makeup/beauty products that you can find a cheaper alternative to quality, higher end products but this is definitely equivalent as I have since tried an unnamed highend brush for foundation application and didn't find it to do any different job then this brush set. *Iven been using these for almost a month, I don't know how long these will last before they start losing their shape/bristles fall out and they can't satisfactory apply makeup anymore. I originally have given this 5 stars but if this rating is less than 5 stars in the future it will be because the brushes didn't have the lifespan expected and had replace them to soon (if that happens, it will be a different brand next time and the rating will be a 3 star; if the rating is still a 5 star then they lived a long satisfying brush life) ... show more
