I got these even after reading reviews thinking that the smell is exaggerated it.is not!! The smell is awful. Like I can't even describe it like burnt chemicals or something not sure exactly. I am soaking them in Dawn hoping the smell will go away because the set is amazing for the cost. The brushes do look high quality and I like the firmness of the eyeshadow brushes especially. I do agree having them labeled would be nice but for the cost and the amount of brushes and assortment for the price I can't complain. The storage is great with the container they come with so your makeup brushes aren’t everywhere, the bristles ands just so soft I can’t get over them. I never wear makeup other than for something very important so to get this many brushes for a low cost, it was worth it. The brush heads are fluffy and the don’t expel extra fibers over my face. They are aesthetically pleasing and fit in my makeup bag perfectly.

I was given 2 angled brushes and missing the flat angled brush. 1 of the angled brushes I was given has a weird gunk on top, so at least I have one that doesn’t, but I would love to trade it for the missing flat angled brushes. Other than that, the brushes look nice and feel like nice quality. I haven’t used them yet, so I can’t speak for the application.
