I'm an old hand when it comes to changing out the drum unit when my machine tells me to. These was an easy install for my printer. The only thing I didn't realize was that my printer did not automatically detect that there was a new drum unit in the machine so I had to look up how to reset the counter for the drum so I wouldn't keep having one of those messages "drum the I soon". Just so you know that your printer won't automatically realize that you have given it a brand new drum unit to keep on keeping on. ... show more

If you can replace the toner cartridge you can replace the printer drum, because you have already taken the drum out when you changed the toner. Voila! It is that easy.
