Description

Personalize family gifts or create one-of-a-kind fabrics with this easy-to-use embroidery-only machine. Its built-in embroidery card slot recognizes all Brother memory cards (Disney memory cards excluded) that work with a maximum 5-by-7-inch design area. Choose from six monogramming fonts, 10 built-in frame shapes, 12 border styles, and 136 built-in embroidery patterns, which include delicate scrollwork, intricate florals, classic quilt patterns, and much more. The machine provides an advanced needle-threading system, top and bottom thread sensors, and an automatic upper-thread tension system for perfect stitches on any fabric, as well as a horizontal drop-in bobbin, a thread- cutter button, and a FAST bobbin winding system. The unit also offers an LCD touch control panel, on-screen editing, compatibility with PE-Design/PED Basic, and the ability to embroider up to 650 stitches per minute. Accessories include a seam ripper, bobbins, a needle set, a cleaning brush, screw drivers, spool caps, a spool net, scissors, an accessory bag, an operation manual, and a reference guide, as well as a dust cover and an embroidery foot "Q" on the machine. The embroidery machine measures 13-5/8 by 10-2/3 by 10-4/5 inches.

    • The Brother Authorized Dealer told me the PE700 is always breaking down.
I had a smaller Brother Embroidery machine, but wanted the larger hoop. Bought this one, and it is always being repaired. Even the repair guy at the Brother Authorized Dealership tells me that he doesn't even carry the PE700, as it isn't a good machine. He called it one of Brother's mistakes. I have tried to contact Brother many times and all I get is to take it to the authorized dealership. They do NOT stand behind their product, which surprises me. I have been using various Brother Machines for nearly 50 years (my first machine was a brother). They have all worked exceptionally well. Only reason I ever bought new ones is to get the newer stitches and accessories. This one is a lemon, and Brother won't stand behind it. ... show more

Sewing machine is out dated the cost is too high for something that is a piece of junk please don’t waste your good money on this machine and please don’t buy from Preisionsewing machine center.

Bought this machine to replace an older PE150 and am thrilled with it. Great little upgrades to the older model and love the larger embroidery area. Embroidery quality is fantastic for an inexpensive home machine. Could not recommend more highly!

    • Same as PE 770, why the extra $200
This is the exact same machine as the Brother PE770 except the USB connection on the PE 700 is a USB port for a computer rather than a memory stick, and the PE 700 includes some Disney designs. The 700ii is the same machine but with USB port for a computer and without the Disney designs. Why would I spend an extra $200 for something less functional? Ugh, third party vendors. The PE 770 is in my cart for $587.73 and it is sold by Amazon! Yay! ... show more

My 5th machine in last 10 years. Hate it. On 2ndit use it constantly breaks thread and/ or needles. The brother basic machine for under $300 works better than this machine.

It was very easy to use right out of the box. The screen gives you all of the directions. I wish that the description said that it comes with a hoop, I bought one with my machine and it came with the medium hoop. If you are looking to do Disney designs -- this machine will only work with "The Taste of Disney" memory card. ... show more
