I needed a lightweight, supportive shoe to wear in the house year-round, and this shoe absolutely fit the bill! I had been having sharp pains in my right foot especially with the cold weather, due to a fallen arch. This shoe provided the necessary overall foot support - very comfortable and lightweight, perfect for my purposes. The shoes themselves were really nice and I loved the color. I have wide, flat feet and the toe box was so narrow I couldn't even wear it for 5 minutes before taking them off. I think if it were wider, it would be very comfortable and supportive. Like others have mentioned, the white on top of the shoe is a mesh-like material that is see-through, so your socks may change the overall color of the shoe in that area specifically. I wore white Nike socks to try these on and the "Dry Fit" text at the toe was visible through the shoe. I ended up returning because they were unwearable for me, but if you don't have wide feet, I'm sure these would be a great choice for the price. ... show more

i love Brooks tennis shoes. They fit amazingly and wear like you don't have on shoes. They run true to size and if you shop right you can find them at a bargain price. I like the Launch 9 which are these that I just got. You can't beat Brooks for the money.
