I've used brooks gts shoes for more than a decade and loved them. I wanted to try something a little less expensive, so I tried these and Im not a fan. first, the sizing is off - it's around a half size smaller than GTS shoes. second, the material is weird... I was expecting a standard show, but these are more of a slip on stretchy material. you don't really need the laces - it's a slipper. Its been a little over 2 weeks since I purchased these shoes. The shoe is true to size. However I have wide feet. I had to put wooden shoe expanders inside the shoe and that helped loosen up the shoe and since I have been wearing the shoes they are starting to loosen up a little where my feet are not as tight. Overall I like the style of the shoes I give the comfort level a 3 I have very sensitive feet and my top priority is to wear shoes for at least 12 hours without my feet aching or hurting. The packaging I give 2 stars. When the shoes arrived there was a crease on the top of one the shoes. These shoes need to be package in a box so it want happen. Luckily when I put the wooden shoe expander inside the shoe the crease was not that noticeable. Overall I am satisfied with the shoes. ... show more

I LOVED everything about this shoe - design, color, fit, comfort, EXCEPT the one piece construction meant it had a sock-like collar that was a little too snug around my ankle for my liking. I have thick ankles, so I don't think most people will be affected by this, and I almost gambled that they'd loosen up upon breaking in, but in the end, returned them. Dang it. ... show more
