I work a job doing online order fulfillment at a major retailer. I'm on my feet literally 8 hours, doing around 25k steps a day. at the end of every day my feet would hurt so bad I could barely walk around my house. in the 5 years I've been doing this job I have I have gone through so many affordable (read: cheap) pairs of shoes that claimed to be made for pain free all day use. Last week someone I play games online with suggested I try out the Ghost 14's. Seeing the price being WAY more than what I typically paid for shoes I was a bit hesitant to order, but my online friend insisted that they were worth the price. They arrived at my house after work, my feet were already killing me, I put them on to check the fit. Standing up that first time wearing them it was like I was standing on to huge marshmallows! took a few steps and was shocked at how cushioned they were, I was actually looking forward to wearing them to work the next day to see if that cushion would hold up, or if they would go flat like every other pair of shoes I've worn to work. It's been a week now and they still feel as great as they did when I pulled them from the box. I've been coming home to pain free feet for the first time in a hell of a long time! The ONLY downside I have with them are the laces. The laces feel super cheap and are way too short for my liking. but they were easy to replace. if you're on your feet all day and are looking for some shoes that are going to make you feel like you haven't been on your feet all day, I high recommend getting a pair of these!! ... show more

Due to an unexpected opening last January I was asked if I would fill in as a warehouse manager for a couple of months. I found myself on my feet for 8 hours a day on a concrete floor. My legs hurt so bad in the evening when I came home that I almost cried. There was no way I was going to last for several months doing this. I texted my son and his wife (both of them RNs at a local hospital) and asked them how they handled being on their feet all day, did they wear special shoes or something? Within 10 seconds they both texted me 'Brooks!!!! It will be worth every penny.' That sure sounded like a glowing endorsement to me, so I bought these that afternoon, got them 2 days later, and the results were like night and day. No exaggeration, like night and day! I was tired at the end of the day, but No More Pain! I was amazed. After a week I told my boss I'd take the job permanently if he wished, and I've been working it ever since. I am on my feet all day everyday walking around a collision shop. I had major back surgery 10 years ago and foot surgery 5 years ago. I was told to give these a try by a friend. I have to say I have never had a more comfortable shoe. 12-15k steps a day and neither my feet nor my back hurt like they did. I wear these shoes 15 hours a day and could not be more impressed. For the record I'm 5'9" and 220lbs. I bought the Ghost 14's because I wasnt sure about them and $99 was easier to swallow than $150. I originally bought the Ghost 15 at a running shoe shop near my house. Brooks apparently doesn't give you any discounts either online or at the retail stores for their latest shoes. I loved the Ghost 15, though, but was thinking I wouldn't mind having another pair. This is where the Ghost 14 comes in. I like the style and fit just as well as the Ghost 15, but with a considerable savings. These shoes have to be the best fitting and comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I love them! I'm a fan of Brooks! I'm just bummed out that I didn't know about these shoes when I was younger. ... show more
