These are probably the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. Although I am not a runner, I am a parent of two young children, which has me walking and chasing after them a lot. Unlike running shoes that use gel or some other insert for added comfort, the sole/cushion of the Brooks uses a foam that feels like you're walking on a (well-supported) cloud. The first time I put them on, I was taken aback by how comfortable they were, in which I had almost no sense of the ground below my feet or any impact at all. For context, I usually buy running shoes in the $75 or below range (because they take a beating and get replaced more frequently), but these Brooks helped to justify why it's worth it to pay a little more for a higher quality shoe. I even bought a pair for my wife, and she said the same thing (she's someone who will happily pay $35 for sneakers and now calls the pair she recently purchased "trash" by comparison). ;) Lastly, it comes in a handful of unique color combinations, because of which I plan to pick up a couple more. I read a review that said these were good for folks with knee problems. I agree, my knees have been just fine wearing these. Comfortable right out of the box; no blisters, no real break-in needed. Arch and stability support is very good. Soles feel a bit firm but I guess you can't have good support without some firmness. My last three pairs were in the Brooks Ghost line of shoes and while those were good, I like these better. I bought a size 9.5 wide and the fit is as advertised. If you have exceptionally wide feet (such as EEE) might be snug. ... show more

Buy them! Brooks are the best! Adrenaline even better than the Beast! I’ve been buying Brooks running shoes for over 20 years now. In the past I always bought the Beast series because I have trouble finding solid running shoes that are motion control (for flatter feet) & fit my size 13 extra wide feet. These are true to fit. The Adrenaline are great because they feel much lighter than the Beast, still durable, & even better styling with a clean look. I bought the solid black & they look great! I run 3 - 6 miles a day on average & they’re holding up well. Paid around $150 for these running shoes. Pricey, but worth the extra money for a quality, street pony running shoe. I highly recommend the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22! ... show more

I got them as replacement for my Brooks GTS19, after putting 1000+K on them… tried Hokas, but after two runs (less than 20K) I was so stressed that I could not run for 3 days. Immediately switched to these, and after 300+K, I know why I will never run on anything but Brooks! Not saying that the other brand is bad, they just don’t work for me, due to my severe supinating tendencies. ... show more

I have become a true believer in Brooks footwear. I had problems with footwear and turned to a Doctor who gave me inserts which helped immensely. Years later, I started wearing Brooks sneakers and my seeing a foot Doctor is no longer necessary because of these shoes. What more can I say?

Maybe my expectations were set too high; I've heard a lot of great opinions on Brooks shoes. Maybe it's just this style, but I dint think the fit and padding are as good as either of my old ASICS or New Balance running shoes. After my first run in these, my shins hurt and ankles were sore. My second run was only mildly better. Before my third run, I removed the insoles, which were very thin, tracing them with some running insoles I bought a year ago and it transformed these shoes into something I can use. So in the end, not rating these high for running, but very good for speed walking and other active training. ... show more

Use for brisk walks over tough trails; light, well cushioned. Toe box a little small for someone (me) with a couple mild hammertoes, but top of shoe is flexible and accomodative. Ordered a wide, though fearing that the heel might be too wide, but it wasn't.

Both my husband and son wear Brooks Adrenaline and love them! They provide excellent support and are super comfortable. Our son ran track in these last year and loved them so I haven’t bought him another type of running shoe since then. He wears these almost every day to school as well!
