    • Update: Great, except the Brush(Problem Fixed)
All tools are great except the grill brush which has begun shedding bristles on the grill. It has been stored out of the weather. Not safe to continue using the brush. Update: I contacted customer service about the brush. They felt the original brush may have been defective since it only lasted about 6 months. They immediately sent a replacement brush that also included a replacement head. I paid $5 shipping cost and received the brush very quickly. I think the brush should have lasted longer than 6 months, so I agree there was probably a defect. I didn’t realize when I originally ordered that the brush head could be replaced after it gets worn down. This set is very well constructed and because you don’t just throw the whole tool away when the head wears out, you can keep a nicely matched set by simply replacing the brush head. I have owned many bbq tool sets over the years and this is by far the best constructed set. I would highly recommend this set and will be purchasing again as a gift for friends and relative that do a lot of grilling. ... show more

    • Solid, heavy duty, quality tool set!
Used these tools a few times over the weekend. I just purchased the Broil King Imperial XLS grill that these were designed to go with, and they go very well together, and fit as designed on the hooks on the grill. The flipper and tongs are larger than my previous tools, which is nice for things like larger cuts of meet. The tongs are longer, which made it easier to get to food at the back of the grill surface, underneeth the warming rack. Also like that one side is flat, which makes it easier to get under the food. Haven't tried the basting brush yet, but I like that the head is removable/replaceable. The cleaning brush worked surprising well, and has a nice flap behind the brissles to catch everything the brissles brush off, and push it to the bottom of the grill to burn off. Great, heavy duty set of tools. Sleek looking, and easy to clean. Warning, the black handles will get hot is the sun! ... show more

After doing everything I could do to purchase a high-quality Broil King Imperial 590 grill, I was excited to get my hands on the "Imperial" grill tools. I was pretty disappointed. While branded "Imperial" grill tools, they don't actually 'fit' on the Imperial grill hooks! The cast hooks on the front of the left and right trays (two on each side) do not stick out far enough from the grill to allow the tools to hang down properly. Yes; the tools 'hang' on the hook, but they come to rest on the front side of the tray which forces them to stick out on like a 30 degree angle away from the grill. I suppose of you hang them and walk around them, it's ok. Or, if you perhaps thread a leather loop on them and hang them from the front loops, they would be fine. The tools themselves; so-so. I gave away my Webber grill tools when I sold the Webber, and frankly I think they had a better feel, weight, and quality to them then the Broil King. All in all, grill tools are grill tools. I'm a big fan of investing in proper quality tools, but I feel the design flaw in the hanging and mediocre quality in the tools has not made this one of my best purchases. The spatula, tongs, and basting brush are all of very good quality, the grill scraper, not so much (otherwise, it would have gotten 5 stars). Broil King makes fantastic grills, but they kind of dropped the ball on the grill scraper, which too easily sheds metal pieces, which, let's face it, can be dangerous. Check and wipe your grill off, after using the scraper, you don't wanna' ingest that sort of thing. :/ ... show more

The tools are nice, they work well, they look great, and they fit the hooks on my Imperial XL. My only complaint is that the bristles on the brush could be firmer, and there could be some sort of blade/scraping surface on it for those hard crusted pieces of food.
