The seat features a layer of side impact protection and the patented SafeCell impact protection system includes a steel frame, energy absorbing base, V-shaped tether to minimize seat rotation and staged release stitches that slow and reduce forward movement in the event of a crash. Easy installation using SafeCenter Latch and built in lock offs makes it simple to secure the infant car seat base. The B-Safe 35 is FAA approved without the base. After doing a ton of research on infant car seats my husband and I decided to go with this one because of the high safety ratings, steel reinforced frame, grow with me insert, and easy install. We also decided on this stroller because it had the oversized canopy, big storage compartment, and will grow with our child. The material was true to the description, very nice and high quality as well as breathable. Very easy install for the car seat and they have instructional videos online for extra help. The stroller was truely a one had fold and very light weight. Even though some of the reviews said the carseat was very heavy I didn't think it was any heavier than other car seats I looked at and held. So my package arrived a day early, super cool! The box was heavy and upon opening the box and taking things out I realized the heaviest thing was the base for the carseat or I could just be weak and feeble. Any who the car seat came right out and it's super nice. The stroller came in the same box, but confined in a different box. It was a little tricky to get out if you want to keep the outer box intact. You know just in case you need to return. The stroller came 95% put together just had to pop on the wheels, the canopy and the mechanisms to lock the car seat on and boom done! Was seriously the easiest thing I will do all day! Its very nice quality and I can't wait to use it. One slight irritation I have noticed is the car seat is a little tricky to get out of the stroller. I pull the latch to disconnect and it doesn't release. I have to put my foot on the stroller to get it out. Going to suck when there is a sleeping baby in it. I'm due June 24th so I'll come back and review how it handles with baby in it and on the streets of Washington! UPDATE: This travel system is a dream! My little bundle of joy has arrived and he loves it! He fits in the car seat nice and snug after a few adjustments. It slips into the stroller very nice and I said before that it gets a little stuck trying to release it, but with the weight of the baby it releases with ease. We went out for a stroll and it rolls pretty smooth over a couple different terrains. The baby didn't jostle about which I loved cause I go out daily for walks! I got irratated at one point because I couldn't fold the stroller! I mean I almost chucked it in the trash. I’ve never been one for writing reviews. After months of researching the best brands of travel systems and toddler seats me and my husband decided on britax. I couldn’t be more pleased! It’s light weight and well made. Definitely more heavy duty than many other competitors and meant to last. You can easily fold the stroller with one hand. The click connect makes the pumpkin seat rest easily in the stroller and is easy to remove, same with the car seat base in the vehicle. I’m very happy with this purchase. I think that a lot of the bad reviews are from people who have not read through their instruction book thoroughly. I highly recommend this travel system and recommended it to all my expecting momma friends. Oh and the cowmooflage is beyond adorable ... show more

    • Worst stroller I've ever owned

I've owned different brands including Graco and this is by far the worst stroller/ combo ever. The car seat is way too small and narrow my 20lb 4 month old can barely fit, he goes in almost sideways and he's a normal sized baby. The stroller has no cup holders for anyone to use on the upper handles, just some bag pockets that get soaked quick with any soft drink mom or dad want to enjoy. The lower carrying basket can barely fit a standard diaper bag you gotta tug/ pull/ yank to get anything medium sized down there. There's no tray for baby, nothing. The adjuster to recline the seat is laughably bad and cumbersome. The padding where the baby sits in stroller is lacking and stiff and my 4 months old's thighs almost hang out the front of stroller and he's tiny! Imagine a one year old you gotta strap him in tight and pray the seatbelt holds him in so he doesn't slide out the front. I got a 20lb 4 month old and he's getting jammed into the car seat pressed shoulder to shoulder and I've taken all additional padding off the car seat. Also unlike other strollers that fold in so you can leave stuff in and it just gets sandwiched this one folds outward so all your stuff has to get taken completely out or it get thrown in all directions. I can go on and on including little things like a toddler being able to piggyback off the stroller and cling on the sides or front but this thing has no balance and it's triangular front makes that impossible. We like this travel system except for two things. The car seat base is too long to safely be used in the middle rear seat of our car- our car’s middle rear seat is a bit less long than the door seats, and doesn’t allow enough safety margin for the base. I’d like the car seat in the middle since this is the safest spot, but unfortunately have to keep it on the door side. I don’t know whether this is an issue with our car or the seat, but something we’re not totally happy with. The other complaint i have is that there isn’t a bassinet attachment that you can purchase for the stroller. After walking our newborn for two weeks, we realized it was a bit of a to-do to strap him into his car seat for neighborhood walks. There are Britax bassinet attachments, but unfortunately none that fit this model. In hindsight, I wish that we would have purchased a stroller with a bassinet attachment and also one that could accommodate a second child- something like the Uppa baby. Still, I do like it. The stroller is maneuverable, collapses easily and has a lot of storage, and the car seat clicks in and out easily and has high safety ratings. ... show more
