This is labeled as a tension-style curtain rod but it's not. It's merely a telescoping rod with two required and necessary end brackets. It won't stay up without the end brackets. For my space that was fine. The brackets come with an adhesive side that sticks to the wall so measuring and placement are all that's required to put them up. This is a long rod too. For my space I didn't need the inserts. The two end pieces, one of which was the telescoping piece, were just fine. It looks good and holds up the shower curtain well. Just wish it had truly been a tension rod instead of a telescoping rod. ... show more

My shower wall is 60”. So I chose the 32”-72” selection. Now as I’ve received it this curtain rod says it’s only for 63”-72” and does not fit. But by the other descriptions the small or medium wouldn’t fit either. I even tried to remove one of the sections and utilize the spring but still doesn’t fit tightly. The rod itself is a nice brushed gold and I love the idea of no holes but it simply won’t fit. Not happy and now I need to go out and buy one last minute before my guest comes. ... show more

The curtain rings like to catch on the lip between the two pieces when closing the curtain. That's my only complaint.

The space I got this for is 59.25". Unfortunately 3 rods fully extended is too short, and 4 rods fully retracted is too long, so I had to use a couple coffee lids as spacers to make it fit.

Quality looks like it would hold up fine, but the stated range doesn't work for my bathroom window. With all three rods, it ends up about 2-3" too long. With only two rods, even fully extended, it ends up about 4" too short. My window is about 44.5" wide.
