I have a hard time ffinding boots that fit. I only like the slouch boot because it makes me look more slender. I typically wear a size 8.5-9 I ordered a 9 wide. They do stretch a little but I think the 8.5 would have been to tight around my calf. No support so not an all day boot but with it being a flat heel it's fine. In all great boot, I will buy next year when these need to be replaced! Update! It is now February and the heel is junk on right boot. I have had better quality in $30 pair boots. Must take away stars for the fact they only held up for 2.5 months and there is no support. I will not purchase again. Very sad because I love the look and fit :( ... show more

Update: I just found this exact boot for $20 cheaper from Walmart! I have ordered the grey and black pair and they only lasted 1 winter. I'm going to order them from Wally World this time and save some $$! I got the gray pair. A little off color from what i was expecting (darker than I thought) but still nice. After going through the reviews I thought these would be wide enough, maybe too wide for my calfs but my calfs must be really fat lol. I can get the boots all the way over my fat calves but they are a little tight in the middle. There is a ton of ankle room. These are my first ever pair of boots so I'm not a super experienced boot person! I wear size 10 in flats and 9 in tennis shoes so I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfect, almost a little too small. ... show more

I absolutely love these boots!!! The size is perfect. I have a 16.5 inch calf and they fit perfect over jeans. The calf could be 1/2 inch bigger for my taste but I would definitely say a 17 inch would not fit in these comfortably. The first day or 2 wearing did hurt my feet a little but after that they were nice and comfy. Could use a little more arch support. Overall a great pair of everyday boots, definitely well worth the price. Update: I've had these boots for 3 years. They have been my go to boots for daily wear during fall and winter as well as through most of spring. They are still completely wearable. There are a few spots that peeled on the toe and heel but you can't really see them since the boot is black. I have definitely given a little abuse (walking through water puddles and mud) and the heel is just a tad bit separated. The only reason these boots (bought in black and taupe which is gorg) did not get 5 stars is because they are not good walking shoes. If you are walking at all on pavement, your feet will hurt after, but I do personally have a really hard step so maybe if you have a light step they will not bother you. My calf size is 16" and I LOVE that these fit so wonderfully. They look really nice! I was stuck with ugly "riding" boots as they were the only ones I could find that would accommodate my calves and these are a steal! They slip easily on and off. I ordered them in wide and they fit PERFECTLY! I can not tell you how much I love these having naturally wide calves. Like I said not a "hiking" shoe, but great for working or leisurely shopping. I have wide feet and larger calves as I am a plus sized women. Just because a product is "wide calve" does not mean it will fit. When they arrive I was worried because they seemed very narrow in the foot and I did not realize they were slip on, with no zipper. But they fit beautifully all around! They are easy to slip on and super comfortable. I wear them all day for work and they don't hurt a bit.
