This dress has a modest v neckline and falls just below the knee. The lined dress is lightweight, but heavy enough that the fabric is not see through. The lining is very thin, and does feel as though it could rip easily, but the dress could still be worn without the lining. For reference, I ordered a size medium, and it fits me perfectly. I am 4'11" tall and 120 lbs. with a 36C bust. I adore everything about this dress: the look, the fit, the feel - all of it. The fabric is beautiful with a lovely flow to it, and the print is sharp. The ruching at the waist is very figure-flattering without being too tight on my mom tummy, and the midi length is perfect for someone who is petite like me. (No need to hem this one! Yay!) Nice material but not very flattering for my size. The elastic ribbed waist kept riding up under my arms. I had to keep pulling it down. The bodice of the dress should have been a little longer to keep it from riding up as I walked.

I love this dress! While the material isn't the softest, it gives the dress some structure which is stellar at hiding my pretty pronounced hip-dips without any shapewear. The material is still comfortable, just not silky or super soft. The elastic band under the bust is very stretchy and comfortable. The band is also narrow, so it doesn't bunch up. I had a similar dress, that has that banding material from the bust to my waist, and it would bunch/roll up, and exaggerated my waist/stomach. That one did not survive the Spring Closet Purge. This is a comfortable, short sleeve dress from Bridesmay. The sleeves flutter femininely. The elastic waist and v-neck are flattering. You just pull it over your head, no zipper. It reminds me of some of the dresses I wore when I was young; girly, floral, below the knee. I usually go for a more modern look, but this a sweet dress for summer. I'm 5'2" and wear a 10 and ordered the medium in yellow. It fits well and the waistline is flattering. This is cute with sandals and wedges, but you could go for a traditional heel too. This is a great dress. Fits true to size (as in the listing) and feels so lightweight and airy. It is lined in the skirt area, so no slip is needed. The elastic empire waist is very flattering for busty women, and the floaty cap sleeves and deep hem ruffle add interest.
