This was a great addition that went well with the overall devote in the game room. Being the classic Nintendo fan, the look really stands out next to amibos and figurines. Beyond all that it functions great as a joycon charger. I was more so excited to charge my NES controllers on it but they just don’t fit. Also, if you have any kind of case or grip that is compatible with the dock, this attachment changes that. It only allows for the switch to dock with regular joycons. Everything works and all that, looks cool...but it's not the greatest fit up against the dock for the switch. It's like on a little bit of an angle, and there's a small gap almost the entire span of it. Just would be nice if it was a snug fit like it appears to be in the photos of the product.

This accessory really brings me back to being a kid. The bricks and color are amazing and remind me those times I used to play Super Mario. We leave this set up in our game room and it just fits right in. It is plastic, but it seems strong and durable. It is nice to be able to charge my additional controllers. Before hand, I had to keep switching them out while the switch was on the charging doc. This station also has a storage for some games, which I think is really convenient so you have your favorite games at your fingertips; and a cover that goes on top of the games that does not take away from the retro feel. Works great with my first generation Switch. It’s very easy to put together (you literally just snap two pieces together) and functions as expected. This dock adds a few useful features to the Switch: * It has slots so you can store some physical game cards. I mostly download my games digitally from the eShop, but I do have some actual carts and this is useful for keeping them organized and neat. Usually, we just toss the game carts around the entertainment center, but now we keep them on this dock. It even has a little piece that goes over it to cover them up. * It has some ports to charge extra Joy-Cons. This was very useful, we usually just leave some Joy-Cons plugged into the Switch to charge, but now we can charge the extra ones as well. * I love the aesthetic. Looks very Mario and true to Nintendo and is very true to the picture. Overall, it’s a good add-on for the dock. It was a little tight to fit on at first because we have a protective sleeve on our dock, but after we were able to snap it on it has worked as expected since. ... show more

First of all, I love the nostalgic brown bricks which was what drew me to this product in the first place. It's very easy to set up right out of the box. I used to have a bunch of joy cons laying around and none of them are ever charged so this was a perfect solution! The joy cons fit nice in the charging slots. I like that there are light indicators that will tell you when your joy con is charged. I also like the safety feature built in for charging. I haven't noticed the joy cons getting too hot or any issues so far. The card game slot holders work well too and it's nice to have your main games easily accessible as they are pretty small and easy to lose. My only grip is that I use a Mumba grip case on the switch so I have to remove it when I want to connect to the TV. This isn't terrible since the dock is so cute. This would be perfect for anyone who has the red switch dock and really add to the nostalgia. Overall, this product exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it. ... show more

For the price you shouldnt expect much, but typically you expect it to work. Does it work, not completely, does it look good, for a teenager or child or someone who absolutely loves Mario. The USB connect is patchy at times and its dependant on a strong connection to your switch docking station. Older ones seem to work better than the new OLED decks. Would I recommend this? Only if you are happy with the look, otherwise, I think Ill stick to my trusty Nintendo Dock. ... show more

Loving it! I really love the old school Mario brick look of the dock, feeling the nostalgia from the device! Very fitting for a switch dock! Pretty neat how it hooks up to your existing dock and stores some games and charges Joy Cons at the same time, it looks cool and charges your Joy Cons, so it is very functional, I really just wanted it for the fun Mario brick theme to add a little something extra to my factory dock, which it really does well, makes the regular dock a little more fun, which is what I wanted, adds a nice touch with functional features I appreciate.
