My second time hanging wallpaper and I absolutely love the results! It is a thick, high quality paper that is easy to hang. No need to match the pattern. Has made an old bumpy drywall look brand new. Used a regular wallpaper paste and pasted back of wallpaper, allowing to sit five minutes to soak, as I also pasted the wall. Plenty of time to adjust/place on wall. Easily smoothed bubbles with a large damp sponge. Only surprise was how long it took to paint, the texture made it difficult to cover in one roll pass. It is beautiful, great texture, easy to apply, but you need to be careful that you don't overwork it, as it will rip if you aren't gentle with it. We love the shading on the texture and never even painted it.

The paper looks nice and does a nice job at adding some contemporary texture to the walls (and is paintable, so it will always "match" as trends change), but it's crazy hard to hang, even for professionals. The pattern repeat is also over 2' (and really hard to find), so you'll need to account for that in waste. (Consider that the roll is 33 feet, so with a 10 foot ceiling without a repeat, you could get three strips, but with the repeat, you're looking at two full strips - you could use some of the overage for windows and doors, but if you have a lot of walls, you could have more waste than you'd think.) We started trying to hang the paper and decided after starting to hire a professional. For us, we needed two people (definitely easier with two), but still had some issues with finding the pattern repeat properly (we thought we had it correct, then got a sheet all up only to see a seam which indicated we were wrong). Our paperhanger (over 20 years in business) didn't like working with it because it was fragile. I had to order three times - first because we tore a sheet and lost one due to misaligning the pattern repeat which wasted the majority of one roll, so I replaced that one, then when the paperhanger came, he suggested to purchase another roll because he realized how much waste there would be with the repeat. I'd recommend it for the look, but suggest purchasing more than you think you need (send back what you don't use), and especially if you don't hang paper often or aren't a professional and don't have another person, hire a professional or you may end up spending more money on product (not to mention the frustration) than the labor. ... show more

Great wallpaper! I decided to cover up my bathroom’s pink tile as a short term solution (I dont like pink LOL) until it’s time to start the bathroom gut job/reno. I ordered this thicker wallpaper/vinyl to cover and last until I got to this part of the house. I’m very happy with the results. One hint/suggestion if you plan on covering tile - do not apply the wallpaper directly to it. Its best to buy a roll of brown paperbag paper and glue that to the wall first - this will allow the wallpaper to go on smooth and you wont be able to see the grout lines through it when the paper sets into them. The wall doesnt have to be perfect especially if you get textured paper this did but covering most imperfections goes a long way. Another thing: do NOT press on it. This will flatten the pattern and theres no need to do so. Just place it at the top and gently put it on the glue going downwards. You’ll also have a few mins to readjust and move it around but after 4-5min the paper becomes moist with the glue and will tear. Be gentle. I’m very happy with how the bathroom turned out. I bought this wallpaper to cover the imperfections on the longest wall of my laundry room. It had been badly repaired by a pervious owner and still looked a bit lumpy after my attempt to skim over the divots. It is so beautiful on its own I am trying to decide if I should paint it or leave it as it is. Wallpapering a wall is not easy, but it is fairly straight-forward. I understand why this type of wallpaper wasn't pre-pasted, but putting on the adhesive is messy. Be sure to use a drop cloth and follow directions completely. Also , be sure the utility knife you use is very sharp because it is prone to tear when wet as you try to cut off the excess paper. ... show more

    • Great Wall covering but paint it right away!
This is a beautiful wall covering. The abstract pattern makes it very easy to install and it does a good job of covering imperfections. A word of caution: prime or paint it right away. The paper is quite fragile and tears easily when unpainted. Once you paint it, it's much tougher.
