The bristles go haywire fairly easily, but only because they are finer. It's a great brush. I use it to clean my files. DON'T THROW AWAY THE BOX. The bristles are pokey and sharp and it's nice to put the brush in something to protect yourself, especially if you are keeping this in your tool box.
