  • Old trusty standby
Size: 32 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I've used Braggs for years, and this is a solid deal for how much you get. I take a shot or so a day - helps digestion and helps to lower inflammation. It's also great in homeade dressings or marinades.

  • Good for indigestion
This is the worst tasting stuff you will ever drink but it stops acid reflux and heartburn. When you drink it at first the burning sensation makes you think this is actually making your heartburn or reflux worse but after a few seconds everything gets better and your reflux or heartburn is gone. It only takes a swallow, this is enough to last a year or more depending on how often you take it. I like to take a swallow before bed and prevent reflux from laying down. 5 Stars for effectiveness, 0 Stars for taste. After a while, you do acquire a taste for it, bad as it is. Works great for indigestion, heartburn and reflux. Much cheaper than other medications that treat these symptoms. Better for you too.. Apple Cider Vinegar Ingredients: Certified Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar is unfiltered, unheated, unpasteurized and 5% acidity. Contains the amazing Mother of Vinegar which occurs naturally as strand-like enzymes of connected protein molecules. Information: Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar is made from delicious, healthy, organically grown apples. Processed and bottled in accordance with USDA guidelines, it is Certified Organic by Organic Certifiers and Oregon Tilth; and is Kosher Certified. Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar is full of zesty Apple Cider Vinegarnatural goodness. Non-GMO Certified. It’s a wholesome way to add delicious flavor to salads, veggies, most foods, and even sprinkle over popcorn. Apple Cider Vinegar has been highly regarded throughout history. In 400 B.C. the great Hippocrates, Father of Medicine, used it for its amazing health qualities. Apple cider vinegar From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Apple cider vinegar, otherwise known as cider vinegar or ACV, is a type of vinegar made from cider or apple must and has a pale to medium amber color. Unpasteurized or organic ACV contains mother of vinegar, which has a cobweb-like appearance and can make the vinegar look slightly congealed. ACV is used in salad dressings, marinades, vinaigrettes, food preservatives, and chutneys, among other things. It is made by crushing apples and squeezing out the liquid. Bacteria and Yeast are added to the liquid to start the alcoholic fermentation process, and the sugars are turned into alcohol. In a second fermentation process, the alcohol is converted into vinegar by acetic acid-forming bacteria (acetobacter). Acetic acid and malic acid give vinegar its sour taste.[1] Contents 1 Health effects 1.1 Weight loss 1.2 Health risks 2 See also 3 Notes 3.1 Sources Health effects Weight loss Vinegar (and other acidic liquids) have long been proposed as agents to enable weight loss,[2][3] one proposed mechanism is that it prolongs the sensation of satiety after eating.[4] A 2009 study on mice showed that consuming acetic acid (the active component in ACV), upregulates the expression of genes for fatty acid oxidation enzymes in the liver causing a suppression in body fat accumulation.[5] In a double-blind experiment, obese Japanese were assigned to three different groups based on similar body weights, body mass indexes (BMI), and waist circumference. Each group drank a 500 ml drink containing either 30 ml, 15 ml, or 0 ml of vinegar daily for 12 weeks. Those in the 30 ml and 15 ml groups had lower BMI, visceral fat area, waist circumference, serum triglyceride, and body weight to the control group of 0 ml. The 12-week weight losses were modest: 1.2 kg in the 15 ml group and 1.7 kg in the 30 ml group. These two groups consumed a similar number of calories to the control group and also performed a similar amount of exercise, so the effect is not likely to have been due to an impact on appetite or other lifestyle changes. It was concluded that consumption of vinegar might reduce obesity.[6] It is suggested to take 1-3 teaspoons a day, in a glass of water that can either be warm or cool before each meal. [7] Apple cider vinegar tablets can also be taken, although there is much evidence against there being value in taking the tablet version, as ACV pills are not well regulated, and may vary dramatically in terms of vinegar content from brand to brand.[8] Health risks A report regarding an Austrian patient, who had consumed excessive amounts of apple cider vinegar (up to 250ml per day) for six years suggests that long-term, high dosage intake of apple cider vinegar can lower potassium levels in the body as well as reduce bone density (osteoporosis); it is theorized that excessive intake of vinegar can cause hypokalemia, hyperreninemia, and osteoporosis.[9] Apple cider vinegar contains chromium which can alter insulin levels and it is therefore recommended that people who have diabetes should talk to their doctors before using ACV.[10] ACV is highly acidic; in one recorded instance, a woman experienced esophageal burns after an ACV pill got caught in her throat. ... show more

  • The best
Size: 32 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
If you have never used Braggs before, once you do you will never buy a different product. Braggs makes the best products I have ever used. Also try the Amino Acids instead of soy sauce, it's much better.

  • Absolutely amazing for your skin! (EDITED)
I bought this 2 pack a year ago. I'd been using it with my Aztec facial clay (as per a reviewer recommendation to combine the clay w/this particular vinegar) and it was fantastic for that. But then I found another great skin use for this on a daily basis.... About 2 years ago I started to have a big issue with my skin changing. It had become very oily my pores just blew up! I also developed cystic acne. I was devastated by this as I'm in my 30's and have never had significant issues with acne. Having acne as an adult is such a cruel joke. I felt awful and hated my skin and bought the Aztec clay and apple cider vinegar for my weekly facial masks to try and help. I'd heard so many good things about the combination of these 2 products. I did have some good results with the facial masks but the acne never really got significantly better and my pores were still larger than had hoped. My sister told me that the vinegar is actually really good to use as a daily facial toner. I thought about this but put off using it as a daily toner for months and months, until 2 weeks ago. I had a particularly bad time with my cystic acne and had very painful blemishes around my chin and mouth. Your mouth is a focal point on your face, the first thing peple look at when you're talking to them, when you smile, etc. It was embarrassing! I remembered what my sister had said to me, so I thought I'd give it a try. I applied Bragg's to a cotton ball and used it as a toner all over my face after I used my facial wash. It does smell pretty rancid, but the results I'm getting out weigh the slight annoyance of the smell. After just ONE application before bed I woke up the next morning with softer, less oily skin, and noticeably reduced redness on my blemishes. In 1 week the active blemishes decreased in size and the pain from them decreased as well. By my 2nd week the redness on older blemishes that have since healed but were discolored have actually lightened significantly and the active blemishes are now inactive and fading fast. My pores are shrinking as well! I'm thrilled with the results I'm getting. This makes my skin feel so soft and clean. I love this stuff! I have looked for this at my local grocery stores, and discount big box stores but unfortunately no one in my town carries it, so I'm vey happy to find it here on Amazon. Since I bought this product I've gone through 1 bottle using it solely for the facial masks, and just recently opened the second bottle for daily use as a toner and w/my facial clay. So it does last quite some time if you plan to use this in beauty uses and not for ingestion. I wish I had tried this as a facial toner MONTHS ago when my sister first suggested it to me. It could have saved me a lot of discomfort, discoloration, and embarrassment from this awful cystic acne. Finally, I am most thrilled about the fact that I found something natural to help with my acne situation without having to resort to toxic chemical creams, toners, or worse prescription medications! I will be buying MORE of this for my teenage sons, who are both dealing with teen acne. If this stuff can tackle cystic acne (the most serious type of acne) then it can handle a bit of teenage hormonal acne w/ease. EDITED: 5/22/2015 I still have 1 bottle of this left, with just 1/4 of cider left in it. It's lasted me almost a year now! My skin looks amazing now! I rarely have to put up with any major breakouts, and the redness is almost completely gone. This stuff has saved my face!! ... show more

  • Bloat is gon. Helps digest my food after a large meal
Size: 32 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
Every time I googled or youtubed anything to do with weight loss, it was almost guaranteed I would come across something to do with Apple Cider vinegar (with the mother)... I decided to watch some of the testimonials, and I really liked what they claimed the apple cider vinegar did. I deal with a lot of bloat and discomfort, especially when I eat anything like bread or rice. They mentioned that they take it twice a day and not only did it help with their digestive issues and digestive health, it helped them lose weight as well! I ordered it, and within three days I could tell what everyone was talking about. I felt right away that there was something going on with my gut in a good way, and if I had a filling meal, and ate a little too much, I'd drink a glass of water with a tablespoon or two of ACV, and I felt better within ten minutes. I highly highly recommend, and found that it's a great part of my new intermittent fasting lifestyle. The taste takes a while of getting used to, but after a while you start to like it. I almosts think of it like a little lemonade. ... show more
