Directions are very straight forward and it’s a sturdy metal box spring, but dang, wish I didn’t need to assemble it! Definitely worth it though compared to wooden box springs that you purchase with mattresses!

The parts I received weren't labeled, but Step 1 is bound together, so that helped me figure it out. Assembly took about half an hour by myself, and everything lined up correctly. Don't tighten all the bolts all the way down until everything is where you want it (that's probably why some others have had issues with holes not lining up). Overall, it's really sturdy. I'm taking 1 point down, because the posting looks like it has a zipper cover that goes all the way around, but it does not. It's more like a tightly fitted sheet. ... show more

It came packaged rather nicely. Parts are labeled with corresponding "letter" stickers. The directions are fairly easy to follow. It can get assemble quicker if you have help, which was great. I’m 4’11” so this lowered our bed a great amount to make getting on & off our bed with a baby so much easier. Our old box springs were your typical twin bed ones & made a lot of noise.
