This is a pretty nice gift set, it contains a good variety of products. There is a 6 pan eyeshadow palette with a larger blush and highlighter, a full sized mascara, and a full sized plumping lip gloss. I found the quality varied a bit for the different products. The eye/face palette doesn't have the most cohesive color story to me but the products are pigmented and easy to use. It has shades that are both warm and cool, they don't all look great together, and it would be nice if there were more matte shades for balance. There are 5 shimmery shadow shades, the marbled cool bright blue, a warmer mid tone brown, a cool greyish taupe, a very cool mid-toned black with blue shimmer, and a nearly white pink that has a more metallic finish and is more loosely packed. I found the shimmer formula to be fairly pigmented and easy to use. I found it easier to get more opaque coverage with fingertip than a brush. The one lone matte shade is a warm light peach, it's very powdery in the pan, a little sheer I had to build it up. To me the shadows were of a similar quality to something like Huda or Colour Pop. The blush is a very pigmented reddish coral shade, it takes a very light hand but it blends well and lasts, I do like it, also works well as an eyeshadow. The highlighter is one of my least favorite things, it's a very light neutral cream color, the shimmer in it is too it is too chunky for a face highlighter, but it's fine as an eyeshadow. The mascara is very wet, I've been using it off an on for a couple weeks and it hasn't really dried at all. I don't think the applicator is right for such a heavy, wet formula, I go over it with a more dense brush to separate the lashes. It is very dramatic though, length and volume. It's not waterproof. I didn't experience any smudging throughout the day. The lipgloss is probably my favorite thing in the set, it's a very pretty warm mauve with some gold shimmer, it's hard to capture on camera. It's nicely plumping and has a cooling sensation when first applied. It's thick but not sticky to me and wore comfortably. I just wish the doe foot held a bit more product, you have to dip it a few times to get enough product for full coverage. Overall it's a nice set from a new brand. The amount of shimmery/glittery shades and the bright blue accent color feels very young to me. I think it would be a good gift for a teen/early 20s. I wasn't blown away but it's a good chance to try a variety of products. At $80 I think the price point is a bit high for the quality. ... show more

I love this make-up set. Beautiful eyeshadow, highlighter and blush. The lip gloss is a nice shade with keeping my lips moisturized. The mascara looks wonderful.

I’m not sure, but I think the only difference in the various Bossy Cosmetics All in One Makeup Kit’s offerings (mine is: “Unapologetic”), is the color of the lip gloss, blush and perhaps highlighter, but the eyeshadow colors seem to be the same across the other titles (in the black cases). There’s a good amount of each eyeshadow included in the set, as well as blush and highlighter, but no face powder/setting powder. The metallic shades (except for the blue) are highly pigmented and give a very luxe, shiny appearance. The shade of the lip gloss is somewhat of a brown-ish mauve, not quite as on the pink side as I’d hoped, but still pretty and very moisture-rich. The highlighter is buildable, and one initial sweep is subtle, which is better in my opinion as it can be layered with more or desired. The blush has decent pigment, and the mascara, which is a very dark black, is not waterproof but well-pigmented. The set comes in a gift-worthy presentation box tray with a clear plastic overlay. I like most of the colors in this, the gold-ish color of eyeshadow being especially noteworthy. I’m not familiar with this brand, but feel it’s out of my economic reach. This is a nice set for the price when you consider what you get. It would cost considerably more to buy similar products individually, for sure. I like the colors of the shadows and they have good pigmentation and cover nicely, and get more opaque with application, or they are soft if that's what you're going for. Lots of options for looks. The mascara is a little thick for my taste, as a daily wear, but definitely a good evening one. I didn't notice it smudging onto my lower lid, either. The highlighter is bright and goes on nicely. I love the blush color and it's not a color I would normally go for. It looks good on my medium fair skin and isn't too mush color, at all. The gloss is minty and goes on pretty easily. I didn't feel like it wore off too fast, either. I chose the Empowered set. The gloss is a nice rosy peach color with just the right amount of sparkle, but I did find it to be just a little sticky. I prefer a smooth, slick gloss. This set would make a great gift or an addition to any makeup collection. ... show more

My first impression is that the presentation and box is very giftable. The eyeshadow was typical and I liked the colors. I don't know how to contour so the white is still unused. The blush was a little bright for my own skin, but I was able to blend it out. The lip gloss was my favorite part of this kit, I now realized that I actually like some orange lip colors for myself. It's a little sticky, but just in a general lipgloss way, not in a horrible "my mouth is glued shut" way. It does come off easily, so be prepared for that. It's also buildable. 1 swipe was perfect for normal day stuff, 2 swipes was pretty sparkly. The bad (worst) part thought was that the mascara was a disaster. One swipe left so much product on my eyelashes that I couldn't blink without it getting all over my face. I had to "blot" it very carefully with a tissue to get a lot of it off. It was a mess and felt like it was going to go into my eyes. I was half panicked trying to fix it before work, thinking I was going to have to wash my whole face and start over. ... show more
