I’m running two MTX 12s so maybe this amp is better suited for two 8 inch subs or one 10 inch sub. It got really hot and went into safety mode after 15 minutes. It’s more like a low 400 RMS watt output.

While it isn't 4000w like the selection suggests. As long as you read the title and look at the pics you'll see it's 1600w which was just what I needed. Overall helps the subs a great amount. 2 kicker vr 12s and they really hit with it! My bass knob doesn't seem to function but other than that very happy with it! ... show more

Kept going into protection mode. When it worked it worked GREAT! I liked it and was very pleased with the amp and it's performance when it worked. But every other day it would go into protection mode. I had it professionally installed and the installer thought it may have been the 8 gauge wire set I ordered with it. Compact!!!! I have it dropped down to 1 ohm running two DVC PowerBäss cheapos, it hits and handles drops well! Currently tucked into my spare well. A++++

I used this amp to power 2 10’s 1100w subs connected to one terminal and 2 800w 6x9 and 2 400w 6.5 they slap! Only problem is when turning up the gain on the subs would go into protect for no reason but I managed to keep it low and have good bass. It sometimes overheats but I don’t mind it.
