Engineered to be the ideal aviation headset for commercial and airline pilots who fly moderately noisy, pressurized turbine-powered aircraft, the proflight Series 2 adapts to unique environments and personal preferences of Pro pilots. refinements to the proflight Series 2 include a thinner, lighter and more flexible cable and the addition of Winglets on the mic boom to assist in correct mic alignment and adjustment. Tap control for talk-through communication has been updated. Additionally, the carrying case has been improved to aid in easier storage and transportation. proflight Series 2 is the industry smallest, quietest and most comfortable active noise cancelling aviation headset, and is the most innovative aviation headset Bose has ever produced. Proflight Series 2 offers advancements to the technology of the original proflight and features improvements based on feedback from the aviation community. the uniquely comfortable and stable design of the proflight Series 2 weighs just 4. 5 ounces (128 grams) on-head – light enough to remain comfortable even on the longest flights. The headset also features three user selectable modes of active noise cancellation, active equalization, a noise cancelling microphone, tap control for talk-through communication with those outside the intercom and optional full-function Bluetooth connectivity. The proflight Series 2 is FAA Tso and e/tso-c139a certified, Meets all applicable arinc standards and is available with four different plug configurations.

Maybe I have really tiny ears, but the earbuds never very uncomfortable for me and my ears wud be sore at the end of a duty day. I also found myself fidgeting with the earbuds and headset a lot. Returned it for the A20 and they work great for me.

I fly professionally and on long international trips. I love the Bose Pro Flight Series 2 aviation headset. They are light weight, very comfortable, and the noise cancelling is excellent. I wish I could give some detail in the pro's and cons, but there isn't anything to say. I fly the 747-400 and the -800 that's a bit louder in the cockpit and this headset just blows everything I've ever used away. Maybe the fact that it sits on the side of your head might irritate some people, but not me. It's so light u barely know it's there. I would highly recommend it, great headset. ... show more
