I loved the quality of these planks which are a 1/2" thick. I brad nailed the boards to the wall and that worked great. The colors are nice and I'm glad I purchased these because I get somewhat nervous about some things you cannot see in person. The only issue is that they give you more brown boards out of all the colors. I wish they would have given a few more of the boards with color other than the brown such as the grey or yellow. Ok. Right off the bat, glue takes too long. Use a brad gun. I had an idea of what this wall would look like if I did this and it surpassed all my expectations. It is stunning!!! These worked well in our laundry closet. I've seen comments about warped boards but we only had 2 or 3 and that was resolved with the adhesive. I found that my 12 year old house had really "wavy walls". So we used a shim or to correct that. It is still DYI but you can do it.

Our planning was aided by all the comments about how many brown boards there are. Each pack contains 6 brown boards and 6 colored boards. We opened all packs and sorted by color. We then installed the boards spacing the colors by eye. All brown boards are not the same color, some are very light, some are reddish, some are almost black. We spaced those around also. Be aware that the boards are not of uniform width. Stand them on edge next to one another to choose a row of more or less equal width. Also we occasionally set one a little higher, leaving a gap under the board being installed. We wanted to make sure the top of each row was level to itself. It’s not perfect. We didn’t want perfect. There are narrow gaps here and there. A corner has curled up a bit here and there. The result is an overall rustic appearance, which we love. ... show more

My wall turned out great!!!! I absolutely love it!!! I am having some trouble with a few pieces sticking out. I think I didn’t add enough adhesive to that area. The panels were very easy to install. My wall turned out amazing!

Easy to install. Just find the studs. I used 1 5/8 th panel board nails. They are so light to well placed nails hold it in place. I rent so I didnt want to use liquid nails like the instructions said. Was done in about an hour after planning the patterns
