I have always used Bosca wallets in my 60+ year adult life. I thought this one would be a good replacement for one that I had used for 25 years. Unfortunately it was larger than the one I was replacing and the leather was firm and not supple. With my credit cards and other wallet items it was a bulging leather mass that would have been a very tight fit in a pants or jacket pocket. Too bad! It was good quality. 3/3/19 Edit: Below is my original review and I'd given the wallet 2 stars. After writing the review, I sent an email to Bosca customer service explaining the wear and condition of the wallet as described in my review. They promptly replied to me saying they were sending me a new wallet. Within about 6 days it arrived. So 5 stars for customer service and overall 4 stars given the initial issues. Let's hope this one lasts a lot longer. Bottom line is things do go wrong with products, it's all about how a company deals with it when they do, and Bosca came through big time. Initial Review: I'm writing this review after owning and using the wallet for just over three years. I do not use it every day as I work from home, and often use a money clip. That said, it has seen pretty consistent use. Overall the wallet is really nice and looks great on the outside. The features are also great in terms of slots for cards, ID and two separate money slots. However, I was really disappointed in the quality of the inside lining. I've included two pictures showing some of how the fabric has torn and separated from the inside back as well as the lining between the card slots and the money slot. It has basically fallen apart on the inside. This began at least a year and a half ago, and continued to worsen. So, it held up for about 18 months. I consider that pretty bad for what is supposed to be a high quality wallet. Guess I'll go back to my 20 cent money clip that never seems to wear out. Edit: I've contacted Bosca customer service inquiring about warranty repair. Their site indicates a solid warranty policy, so we'll see how this next step goes. I still think the wallet should not have failed as it did, but if they fix it, I'll update my review. ... show more

I have been b BOSA fan for years, I have had some of the smaller "low end" stuff; if that is possible. I have to give some credit to Amazon, coming from an online bookseller to being the largest and best-respected procurer and disseminator of quality goods in the world. And I thought Harrods, Selfridges, and John Lewis & Partners were top drawer. And not one of them ever thought of taking Capt. James T. Kirk into space, where he had never actually been. The quality of this wallet is excellent. However, even though it's made for multiple credit cards ( I have 10) when the 10 cards are inserted, plus the ID flap, it becomes very bulky. With fewer cards, it will probably work. Hence the removal of 1 star. I returned it.

My husband doesn't like change and it was traumatic to him to even have to look for a new wallet. The family is dropping hints that his current one needs to retire by giving gifts of wallets. We now have a drawer full of all shapes and price points. Of course, each one was not acceptable for various reasons, I held my breath when this one came. He liked it!
