I paid the extra money for this wallet thinking I was paying for a quality wallet. This was a gift for my boyfriend and it is not something he would normally spend the extra money on. At first he really loved it. Loved the style, the leather and appearance of a quality wallet. But, within less than 3 months after pulling his drivers license out, the pocket that holds the drivers license ripped. Now, I would expect this out of a cheap wallet, but not something I paid $115 for. I thought for sure Bosca would return it, and stand behind their product being so expensive, but by the time we looked into we surpassed the 100 day return policy, even though it ripped prior to the 100 days. So, if you want to pay a lot of money for an inferior product, buy a Bosca. Otherwise, I highly recommend going somewhere else, because paying $115 for a wallet, should only hold up to their 3 months warranty. So not happy! ... show more

3/3/19 Edit: Below is my original review and I'd given the wallet 2 stars. After writing the review, I sent an email to Bosca customer service explaining the wear and condition of the wallet as described in my review. They promptly replied to me saying they were sending me a new wallet. Within about 6 days it arrived. So 5 stars for customer service and overall 4 stars given the initial issues. Let's hope this one lasts a lot longer. Bottom line is things do go wrong with products, it's all about how a company deals with it when they do, and Bosca came through big time. Initial Review: I'm writing this review after owning and using the wallet for just over three years. I do not use it every day as I work from home, and often use a money clip. That said, it has seen pretty consistent use. Overall the wallet is really nice and looks great on the outside. The features are also great in terms of slots for cards, ID and two separate money slots. However, I was really disappointed in the quality of the inside lining. I've included two pictures showing some of how the fabric has torn and separated from the inside back as well as the lining between the card slots and the money slot. It has basically fallen apart on the inside. This began at least a year and a half ago, and continued to worsen. So, it held up for about 18 months. I consider that pretty bad for what is supposed to be a high quality wallet. Guess I'll go back to my 20 cent money clip that never seems to wear out. Edit: I've contacted Bosca customer service inquiring about warranty repair. Their site indicates a solid warranty policy, so we'll see how this next step goes. I still think the wallet should not have failed as it did, but if they fix it, I'll update my review. ... show more

    • So far the Bosca is a keeper! Tumi Global Center Passcase...too thick and too wide!

Tried the Tumi Global Center Passcase, very nice leather and quality. Just too thick, and way too wide to get out of your suit pants pockets. More searching...and yes, I have to carry too many plastic cards, at least in my mind I need them all. I don't carry a balance though...lol. The Bosca,okay...leather is not as soft and supple and thick as the Tumi, but it holds what I need fairly easily, closes fairly easily, and slides in and out of my pants pockets very easily. If it holds up well, and the bill compartment materials etc. don't start tearing within a year as other reviewers stated, it's a winner for function, and what should be quality because it's a Bosca. Time will tell and if it comes up short before a long useful life, I'll update this review. ... show more

I did not know about BOSCA before. I was searching for an expensive-looking wallet when I came across this one. Personally, I see no rationale to buy a Montblanc or Gucci, over priced. In addition, these brands don't or rare to produce an 8+ wallets with such quality like the BOSCA's. I bought the cognac color. Currently, I am carrying more than 10 cards in addition to notes, photos and saving-coupons. I had previously used same size wallets but the difference here is the size of the card-pocket. my previous wallet was a Fossil and the one before was a GAP. For some reason, if you filled the other wallets, some of the cards; especially those in the front pockets; would break. Not with a BOSCA. The finish is also outstanding. The size is standard, I carry it in my back pocket. The color is also great and shiny which implies its richness. my only comment is about the ID slot which is a bit tight to insert and remove the ID card. ... show more

I ordered this wallet in Navy blue, which is a limited edition color. This wallet is a gift for my boyfriend, who has never owned a decent wallet in his life. This wallet is simply gorgeous. I took to a couple of different places to see if I could get his initials debossed in the leather, and both places commented on how beautiful and high-quality the leather was. I spent a lot of time shopping for the perfect wallet. I looked at TUMI, Tom Barrington, Coach, etc. I even made a spreadsheet to keep track of everything (I went a little overboard, but I wanted to pick the BEST wallet!). After all that comparison shopping, I realized none of the others seemed close in quality to Bosca, and they were made in China more often than not. I’ve been looking for a real men’s wallet for years and all the ones I’ve been looking at are for kids and those who don’t need to carry all his cards with him like I do I needed a wallet that could withstand being used constantly and all the wallets I’ve had over the years have either broken or started falling apart where the leather starts braking apart and loose bits got stuck to the cards it was holding but not this wallet the cost is well worth the product ... show more

Sturdy wallet lots of card slot. Very nice leather. I had this same brand of wallet a long time ago and tried one that was cheaper. I lost my debit card as the card slots were really lost their shape after about a year. Went back to Bosca my old one lasted about 8 years so it is worth the money for this one ... show more

Great wallet for someone who likes to have a lot of pockets. I bought one that lasted 5 years. Over time the pockets will stretch as it is leather, but it lasted a long time. Best was the model still exists!
