The reviews are so good and from so many people that I wanted to like it, but I purchased it to place next to the front door, where people would be standing right next to it. From that close up, the topiary definitely looks like plastic, plus there are places where metal loops can be seen through the branches. I would recommend the plant if people will be 20+feet away or if you need a no-water plant option. Also, one other thing that threw me off is that the box that the 4 ft. tree was sent in is short by about 3 inches or so, meaning that when I pulled the tree out, the top branches of the tree dropped over to one side in an unnatural way.
