I wanted some new wine glasses for some wine I purchased on a recent trip to the Napa Valley. I had wine glasses but the quality was poor with thick cheap glass, and it does affect the taste of the wine. These glasses are a nice quality and size for wine and at a decent price.

Bormioli Rocco 18oz Red Wine Glasses, set of 4 I've used Bormioli Rocco stemware in the past, and it's comfortable to hold, reasonably durable (for glass), and an excellent price point. That's not precisely what was sent. The stemware I received, carefully packaged and in excellent condition, was exactly the same size and profile as previous orders, although it lacked the Bormioli imprint. What it also lacked was 4 glasses - only 3 were sent in a box which, while it bore the Bormioli logo and the notation 'Box of 4,' suspiciously had room for only three. I saw the problems mentioned here in other reviews and decided to try ordering this set anyway - at worst I lose some time. When negotiating the return I wasn't willing to chance that I'd be sent another 3 glasses, so I've opted to shop elsewhere, Had I been ordering it as a gift, instead of for personal use, it would have been quite a disappointment, however it's a good reason to make the trek to a brick-and-mortar store. ... show more

I like Bormioli! Had a set that lasted for years and was pretty and thin but durable. Sure over the years they broke but they outlasted other wine glasses by far that I had. Happy to have a new set.
