I got this wig for my Velma cosplay. I found the hair to be very soft and smooth. I have had no issues keeping it tangle free and clean. It doesn't have any weird plastic feeling or smells. It was, however, much longer than most of the images suggest. At least in my opinion. This may be normal for wigs due to varying head sizes and such, I really don't know. I'm very new to wigs so Im running on the assumption that it is to be expected. It's a lot closer to the mannequin image than those with models. It was cut in an angled bob, as opposed to the expected straight cut bob, and the front was long enough to touch my shoulders. The bangs were way too long as well. I had to straighten out the cut and trim the bangs heavily. It still hangs too far forward for my liking and I'll be looking for different wig long term. But for my first cosplay, and the price, I really can't complain. I do recommend this wig, but if you have a lot of hair I would also recommend some wig clips or braiding and winding it as close to your head as possible. It moved around a lot during the convention,and had to be fully removed and reset twice during the 8 hours I wore it. I just didn't have clips with me. This wig is good for the price. It comes with a wig cap, and it is adjustable with built in clips. I got it for my Velma costume, but I feel like it can be worn everyday with some changes. Also, the hair does appear a little shiny and fake looking, and it arrived with waves so it took me a while to get them out since I couldn’t just straighten it with a hot iron because it’s synthetic hair. Great style and super comfortable to wear. I used the hair sleeve to hold back my own hair, that it came with. Put the wig on and it stayed in the exact same place I put it in. No Bobbie pins needed. For the price I was actually really surprised with how soft the wig is. I did find that the bangs felt longer than pictured and strands kept falling out which makes be question how long this wig will last. May not be ideal for frequent use. The wig photographs very well and doesn’t give off that weird shine that most other inexpensive wigs do. Wig was packaged well and came with a netted wig cap.
