It said waterproof and so far, that description is accurate. It's held up through the last few days of rain and still functioned perfectly. I adhered it to the outside of the rear window of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Used Superglue to permanently adhere the suction cups to the surface, seems to be holding for now. Been a couple months and wireless remote still working as it should well see how they hold up they are really bright and can see them from a mile away at night. I didn’t use the auctions cups I screw mine in with self tappers on my truck bed

I bought these lights and was excited that I would be able to activate/deactivate them while outside the truck/on scene. When I started testing them I found if I activated and changed flash patterns with the remote I could use the remote to turn them off then back on and the pattern was retained. If I power cycled the lights from the plug I would then have to select cycle through the flash patterns again. I was then thoroughly embarrassed when I went to a wedding and halfway through the lights activated even though the remote was in the closed position. I thought maybe it was a fluke but I've now had at least half a dozen times when the fob was hung on the wall, lights were off and a few hours later I get a neighbor calling me telling me thatvmy lights are on. The only way I have been a le to ensure my lights do not randomly turn on is to unplug them completely. There have been at least 3 cases of me driving down the road and the lights randomly activate, once in the middle of a construction zone. Needless to say I will need to find a different set or splice these to a custom switch box. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Have 5% tint on my back window and still can see the lights just fine. There bright and work well. I actually hard wired this unit into my car with the switch from the plug with a little wiring knowledge just to keep the power plugs free and usable for other things like charging my phone..lol ... show more
