I've caught lots of big bass in excess of 4lbs with these jigs. And they have held up. I fish them mostly in thick grass and around blowdowns. The paint will chip off on some rocky bottoms. That said, these are excellent jigs for the price.

This Jig is absolutely perfect, the action is great, and it’s the perfect weight to get good casting distance while still being light enough to flutter to the bottom. HOWEVER, I highly recommend that you trim the weedguard down until it just barely covers the tip of the hook, as it comes very long which I found led to more failed hooksets. Once you do that the lure is perfect and I’ve used it to catch several bass. ... show more

This is a tackle box must have. If you don't have a lot of dark colors like black-and-blue on board.... start here..... and proceed from this point.... But don't go too far.... This company makes enough quality lures, to fish a season.... without shopping elsewhere, in my opinion. I happen to like variety ......and buy from a multitude of brands. But boo yah, makes a fantastic product.... that will clean up on the lake. I hope you add 1 or 2 of their jigs to your Arsenal.... You won't be sorry. Fish safely this season!!!😉 ... show more
