  • My method and opinion
Worked very well for me. The trick is when to use it. I learned to wait till it appears to be setting up but still can take a trowel. My largest slab section was 5x6' or 30 sq ft. and I had to wait as the slab was drying differently as it took me about 1 1/2 hours to mix, pour, tamp, trowel by myself. Made a nice texture by tamping the back side of stamp with my flat hand- of course the stamp face is in the concrete. If it lifts cement then trowel back in place and wait a bit longer. Addition of oil as a release agent to the stamp didn't seem necessary as I dropped that idea into the 4th slab. The stamping got better as I went along. The texture wasn't very noticeable on drying until I added concrete staining. Then it looked great. And there I used 3 colors of the stain you pour into concrete mix however here I wet the slab and on a rag mop with a t shirt in it I poured small amounts of stain and slopped it around the slab not trying to blend the colors then applied concrete sealer. The stamp didn't leave deep impressions but I didn't hit very hard either. A sq ft section is fine for a one man job. Anything bigger might be hard to handle if reaching over the slab. ... show more

  • Great stamp!
Awesome stamp. Great quality and alot of detail in the concrete. Stamped just under 50 ft of walkway. Used mineral spirits as my release agent and nothing sticked to the stamp. Just have to stain and seal next.

  • I'm not a concrete guy
I'm not a concrete guy so that could be the reason why but it did not work, either concrete was to wet or to setup. No matter what it would not accept the pattern design.

  • Great Concrete Stamp for Small Jobs
This concrete Stamp worked extremely well for a small section (3'x5' landing) of concrete I mixed and poured myself. I added the landing to existing concrete professionally poured and stamped and this matches extremely well. The design in the stamp stood out well matching the creek slate rock of the other concrete. Be sure to watch a few videos on how to do this, but a good release agent and seasoning the stamp with cooking spray and release agent as well as release agent on the concrete did the job for me. If this product had a small tab on the back to help pick it up, I would give it a 5 star rating. ... show more

Very durable. The four handles on the back make it easy to use.

  • Didn't work
Unfortunately, did not work for me. I tried several times, but I just couldn't get the result I wanted/expected. This item was not flexible enough. It was a bit too stiff for the areas I was working on.

  • Exceptional product
Worked excellent on my verticle wall. Love the design as it's subtle yet well defined and made my wall look authentic. Exceptionally easy to use, flip around to mix up your design. Mat is durable and im sure ill get years of use out of it and the price is unbeatible. I shopped online for a couple weeks as identicle texture mats were $50.00-$75.00 more and 2-3 weeks for shipping! I only write reviews on fantastic or really bad products to assist others. ... show more

  • worked nicely for a small walkway
worked nicely for a small walkway, although I think a 2x2 might have been less repetitive. I used olive oil cooking spray as my release agent. You will want to float the concrete fairly smooth even though your stamping, it will look much better that way. Be sure to wait for the proper curing time, when the concrete will hold and thumb print. if too wet it will leave a messy look. I make a tamper to smash the stamp into the concrete out of a piece of 2x6 and 2x4 for the handle. ... show more
