I own several bottle jacks but was doing some work in tight spaces. My old 9" tall bottle jacks couldn't fit. I purchased this and was able to insert it into spaces greater than 4" with ease. While it's only able to lift 2" at a time, I'd lift, put in a brace, set it on a 2" block, then lift another 2". It's very easy to use. After a year I had a little trouble getting pressure and emailed tech support. They got back to me a few hours later, and even created a video showing me how to unscrew the rear cap to add more oil. The customer service is outstanding, I received an identical replacement unit via air freight and it worked very well. My application is to push out a mini-excavator track pin, using the ram along with a jig I built. It seemed a very heavy load as can be seen in the deformation of the bushing in the pics, but there was no leakage and the unit seems ready for the next pin. ... show more

This is not an Enerpac, it doesn't feel like an enerpac, and I was skeptical that it could indeed generate 20 tons. Now I'm not sure if it was able to produce the full advertised force, but it generated enough force to bend 2 1" bars of 1045 hot rolled steel when I was pressing out a 4 inch diameter press fit housing in 2" thick aluminum... at literally 1/10 the cost of the enerpac setup I can vouch that it works. ... show more

Bought this and the 10 ton kit to be used in a fixture to correct bends in plate steel. Both rams are mounted in the horizontal and perform the intended task, but both rams leak. The rams just leak, resting or under load. The rate of the leak does not appear to be effected by the pressure applied, which is odd, but what I observed. The pump has to be topped off daily to avoid losing pressure. ... show more
