I'm a bit ADHD when it comes to coffee - I have specific brands/types that I love, but tend to mix up what I drink as I get bored if I have the same type or flavor every day for months at a time without changing it up. Since I have the luxury of working from home, I get to choose what sort of coffee I have, and so like to go out of my usual stuff every so often to keep from that boredom. Out of the normal roast styles, I am particularly drawn to medium and light roast, as dark roast presents itself to me as too bitter and is harsh on my stomach. Medium roast occasionally has that same issue, but will depend on the brand. So, on to the actual review of Bones Coffee Pumpkin King Pumpkin Pecan Praline coffee! It's a medium roast, and is one of the medium roasts that aren't too bitter, so that's win #1 right there! When I opened the package containing this pack and another (I also got the Mudslide Boogie, which I haven't tried yet), the smell coming from the Amazon box it was in was amazing! Opened Pumpkin King to grind the beans, and the whole house smelled of pumpkin spice, pecans, and coffee, and it lingered for several house after grinding them. Win #2! I've had somewhere around 12 twelve ounce cups since I got it, and it's super mellow, barely a hint of bitterness (exceptionally low for a medium roast, in my humble opinion), and easy to drink. Wins #3 and #4! While this isn't enough to replace my all time, ultimate favorite coffee (highlander grogg), it is a VERY close second place! While I'm loving the Pumpkin King flavor, I also can't wait to try the Mudslide Boogie! ... show more

I'll preface this by saying that this is the only review that I have ever written for an Amazon purchase before (to date anyway). It's actually so good? I bought the Cookies 'n Dream flavor. The moment I opened the bag, I was so confused because I was not expecting the scent to be so accurate to the ice cream sandwich that it was based off of. Prepared my cup of coffee, had it with some oat milk, and it was at that moment that I knew... "Oh no... I think this coffee company got me—OH NO. MY WALLET." Accurately marketed as "the stuff of dreams." I fear for my starving art student budget as I see myself trying out all the other flavors in the near future... ... show more

I run a coffee club at work where many of the members, including me, drink the coffee black. I ordered this in hopes of getting some kind of pumpkin themed coffee. i discovered this coffee and ordered it the same day. It has a flavor all it's own. I bought the caramel and vanilla. I am enjoying a cup right now and wish i could describe it better. My rating: I don't see the cheesecake part of it, but it definitely has a subtle strawberry taste to it. I'm wondering if I didn't use enough beans because the flavor is a little weak, though the brand does tout that they're low acid so maybe it's just meant to be a mellow coffee over all. It's not bad, but I prefer Coffee Bukake to it by far, which doesn't look good for it considering they're pretty similarly priced. I might try other flavors, but for now this one gets a 3.5/5 (rounded up to 4 because it's definitely good just...I've had better) ... show more

I love this coffee. Every morning I get to wake up in flavor town. As far as flavored coffees go, this one is one of the best. Not only is the packaging and naming brilliantly done, but you can clearly taste and SMELL the salted caramel notes. It's delicious. This should have been marketed as a Chocolate Tootsie-Pop coffee; because that's what it tastes like. I didn't really like it, but after reaching out to Bones they sent me a gift card in order to try another flavor I'm sure to enjoy. Fantastic customer service!
