I really liked this reed diffuser for a while...it smelled nice but not too strong. As time has gone on though, it has stopped smelling like anything even though there is a ton of liquid left in the bottle. I'm not sure why it's done that but it was disappointing that the scent faded probably within a month or so. Now, I don't hate this product at all, it did give me a month of beautiful scent but like I said it was disappointing that it stopped smelling or diffusing into the air. I at first thought maybe it was the room size but it's a small room (it's my office) so, I should still be able to smell it but sadly there is none. Overall, I do like it and it's possible I got a bad batch because that can happen. Either way, I do like it but am disappointed in the lasting power of the product. ... show more

This diffuser has very attractive packaging and the a brown glass jar reminds me of an old time apothecary. This matches the product style perfectly. I really like how the black reeds match the jar and think it looks great in my house. The stopper in the bottle top is not too hard to remove, making it less likely that you spill the liquid everywhere! My version is the tobacco scent which has a sweet smell and is quite pleasing but could be a bit more balanced for my liking. Also, there are a good number and length of reeds for just the right amount of diffusion. And of course, you can always trim each reed or leave one out if it’s too strong. ... show more

The bottle itself looks so nice; it’s glass and it’s bigger than I thought it would be. That’s where the high rating stops unfortunately. I originally had it in a bit of a larger bathroom, but I couldn’t smell it at all. I flipped the reeds and put it in a small bathroom, but unless I walk right up to the bottle, I can’t smell it. Maybe I should try a different scent, but the ebony tobacco doesn’t fill the space well. The scent is alright, although it smells a bit medicinal to me. ... show more

I ordered the sandalwood scent of this reed diffuser and really enjoy the scent. The diffuser is in a small office and I find that the scent is very light, almost too light. Placed in a larger room, I doubt I would be able to detect the scent at all. The bottle is large and very nice, almost apothecary style bottle. It would blend into many decors. There are many ways to add a pleasant smell to your environment. Plug-ins, oils, waxes, sprays.... they all have their drawbacks. This reed diffuser set uses liquid in a nice-looking bottle that is wicked up the included reed when they are inserted into the liquid and left to stick out of the sitting bottle. It is a pleasant smell that permeates the immediate environment and lasts for weeks. The whole thing looks nice, while also blending into the decor of most indoor environments. The Ebony Tobacco scent was a pleasant surprise. I expected perfume, but got a subtle deep tone that I found pleasant and enjoyable. I had hoped to keep this diffuser by my desk, which is in a larger open area of the house, but the space proved too much for the 6 reed sticks provided. I ended up moving it to the master bathroom where it was better suited to hold its own. Usually these come with 6-8 or 10 reeds to scent the area; but the limited number does hold this diffuser back. I suspect this is how they expect to achieve the 3 months of advertised aroma. (I will check back in a few months to verify for you if it lasted that long or not) Definitely smells good, just know that it isn't strong and will be lost in average to larger spaces. Side Note: I'm not quite sure what the manufacturer meant to convey on the box under "Embrace Freedom", but I found it humorous. Hopefully they give another translation a try. ... show more
